Elmofongo: But Battlefiled 3 Multiplayer is not a Call of Duty Clone, Battlefield has always been like this since 2 from what people told me.

Navagon: Well that's the problem. You've played BF3, I've played BF2 (and earlier games). Neither of us has played both, so it's not really like we can debate which is more like what. But I will say that BF2 was pretty much a straightforward evolution of the BFs before that. It was Bad Company 1 that really changed the way the series played and I've got no clue how much ground BF3 has regained from that point.
Well in a sense BF3 is Bad company with 64 player, larger maps (biggest is Bandar Desert), return of Jets and Artilery Vehicles and Anti Tank vehicles, Has BF2 maps which includes the loved Wake Island, Close Quarters maps (smallest is Ziba Tower), Putting Stands on Sniper Rifles and Light Machine Guns for increased accuracy, the ability to completely prone has returned, and true aiming down the sights in shotguns.

Well that does sound a lot more like Battlefield. Does it have battle mopeds though?

no but it has an ATV

Oh and I forgot to mention BF3 has bulletdrop so bullets do not fly straight at all.

That could work... as a diluted substitute. It doesn't seem to have an ice cream van either, which is a definite oversight.

it has this
http://battlefield.wikia.com/wiki/Skid_Loader

and there are 2 more expansion packs coming in december and early 2013 so who knows what new weapons and vehicles will include.

Now we're talking. If someone's crazy enough to come at you in that thing you know you're screwed.

Exactly though I have not played them, BF3 seems more akin to the old Battlefields than the frostbite 1 BFs
Serious Sam 3 may not have been as much fun as the previous games but my roommate and I still had a blast co-op'ing through the campaign. Was a short game, though. I think we only got about 9 hours or less out of it (compare that to 70 Borderlands 1 hours, 146 Borderlands 2 hours, and 51 Torchlight 2 hours).

Licurg: SS3 is not a mediocre game.
Agreed, System Shock 3 is awesome!

P.S. Metacritic has taken care of the abuse for me.
I don't really see a problem, Serious Sam has always worked as a sort of parody of contemporary FPS conventions so it makes sense they'd use a goofy promo to continue that trend.

Plus it's not exactly like EA is some poor underdog getting bullied by big bad Devolver Digital.
With all due respect

MOH: Warfighter is a pen, by paper example of everything that's wrong with FPS games today

Serious Sam 3, while not Brilliant/GOTY material, is 10x times more fun than it and many other FPS games today, so I guess Devolver Digital has a right to talk like this right now
