Yeah you'll have more fun.

On another note, if you haven't downloaded your Liberty Pass from Nintendo WFC, to take the boat and get the Victini, you have only a few hours to do it. Victini is the only Fire/Psychic in the game.

Hmm, you're right, I swear I read some promo stuff that said the 3/9 was the end date, Serbeii has it listed as next month as well: http://www.serebii.net/events/2011.shtml

And dammit, I missed Celebeii again, not telling my kid, she'll cry over it.

Also, I listed the types out of order, Victini's primary type is Psychic, not Fire, he's the only Psychic(primary)/Fire(secondary). This doesn't actually matter in game, so far as I know, but there's a chance that Primary type vs. Secondary could matter in the future.

I do know it's pretty common for a secondary elemental type to change during evolution but there's only like 8 Pokemon that with two elements that swap out their primary type on evolution.

Apparently, yeah, the info I read before was wrong.

I screwed up Celebeii again, arg!

If someone shows me their wonder card for it can I get it? I actually don't even care for myself, I just want one for my kid. I've f-ed up Arceus and Celebeii multiple times.

Well I bought Pokemon White earlier (as in like 5 PM Eastern, so I didn't get a chance to see the comments about Heart Gold or Soul Silver, but I'll probably get one of them later. That being said, what is all of this about getting Celebi & whatnot. I went to that site you guys mentioned and saw something called Zoroark that you can get until the 14th of this month (which is insane considering that it is at level 50 & you would have to be a hardcore pokemon nut to have your Pokemon at a level that would stand a chance against it atthis point). Problem is that it doesn't tell how to get it... last thing I want is to miss out on an awesome Pokemon because I didn't get the chance to download & capture it.

It would help if I could read.... that is only in Japan.

To put it simply Nintendo sometimes distribute certain Pokemon in events that are either held locally (In GameStop stores in the USA, for example) or over Nintendo Wi Fi Connection. Not long ago (And for all I know it might still be on) they were giving away shiny versions of the legendary dog trio Suicune, Entei and Raikou as well as Celebii, These specific Pokemon, when transferred to Black and White, unlock two new Pokemon called Zorua and Zoroark. The time limit is only for downloading the event itself, once you have it you can do the quest any time. As I recall Celebii also unlocks a special boss fight in Heart Gold and Soul Silver.

That downloadable Zoroark isn't battleable and in any case will probably come over here in a few months anyway. All you do to get events like that is log into Nintendo WFC using the Mystery Gift feature, download the event then talk to a character in-game who adds the Pokemon to your party. You only need to FIGHT Zoroark if you're getting it using the shiny dog method which is a little more complicated.

There are ways of getting special Pokemon like that after the event's officially ended, the most obvious of which is finding someone with spares they're willing to trade. Then, of course, there are hacking tools like PokeSav or Pokegen and even sites that will transmit the Pokemon directly to your game cart with a bit of fiddling, but obviously not a lot of people are comfortable using these sorts of tools and consider it cheating
