Are you?
Seriously, what NBC did by pushing the show back again is just insulting. Here is a good man with a large audience at the 11:35 PM slot and they just butcher it for a guy with unfunny jokes. And I'm pissed off because if O'Brien leaves then the local TV channels here will put Craig Ferguson on! Imagine!

Frankly I think conan was better off where he was, the few bits of the new show I've seen didn't seem as good as the old stuff (then I DO have a documented tendency to luck out and get the worst episode of any new show I try)

I loved the clip where he went and visited Vivid porn studios because they were across the road from the studios. At that moment I knew he was a genius.
And puppies dressed as cats.

Shouldn't NBC just do what brings them the most money?

Yes, but alienating two of your best known personalities isn't going to bring in long-term money.

Two? Leno is leaving as well?

Probably not leaving, but he isn't happy about the whole thing.

You don't like Craig? I think he's easily the best out of all of them.
Conan belongs on Conan, Leno on Tonight Show. It's just weird as hell otherwise.

I'm with Coco.
I love Conan and consider myself a pretty big fan, even though I haven't seen him on the Tonight Show besides opening night .(I work late at night a lot).
I was in the studio audience for one of his shows when Late Night came to Chicago a few years ago. It was awesome.

Yeah that's true.
Who on earth likes Craig Ferguson? He is the definition of unfunny.

Conan doesn't even need to do a late night talk show style program. I think he is his funniest when it's completely unscripted. I could just watch an hour of him going into random people's homes.
Also he should do an entire show with Martha Stewart.
Meh.
I'm with Conan as well. Though, I am biased; I haven't liked Leno since he stole the Tonight Show out from under Letterman in 1992. However, I am not really worried about the whole thing.
The whole situation seems like a win/win/win for Conan to me. At least in the long run. Either NBC caves and gives Conan back the 11:35pm time slot for the Tonight Show, Conan sues NBC and wins $80 million for breach of contract and buys and island and gets a tan, or Conan loses the breach of contract suit and moves to a network that is a better fit (such as Fox).
A lawsuit between Conan and NBC would hinge on whether or not changing the time slot of the Tonight Show constitutes a big enough change in the property such that Conan isn't truly hosting the 'real' Tonight Show any longer. Since Conan's contract doesn't stipulate the timeslot (as many other previous host's contracts HAVE), but instead only names the property in question as the 'Tonight Show', this would be the only argument open to Conan.
I suspect that NBC and Conan will compromise, and Conan will accept a generous severance package while agreeing not to move to another network for a set time period. After that period is up, I fully expect him to move to FOX, since they have openly acknowledged that they would be interested in Conan starting a new late night schedule for them. He'll be back on the same network as the Simpsons then, where he was a writer right around the time that Carson retired from the Tonight Show.
I hope that happens, at any rate. The poetic irony would make me smile.

The only right way for this to solve itself would be if Leno refused to move back or quits, I mean, he's been on the Tonight Show for 20 fucking years, he's already passed the torch to Conan, why not keep it that way or is this the tonight show curse to never have a smooth transition between hosts, kinda like Doctor Who.
So what, leno should regenerate and turn into conan?
