I came prepared to blow $50 on "all the things on my wishlist" but instead I found a sale on exactly NONE of the games I am interested in owning. They're not bad games/I'm not faulting GOG for running a Weekend Promo, but... wherever you are in the world, it's hard to miss "Black Friday" as "A Chance to Make Some Serious Cash". Even if GOG happened to be based in central Africa, they are in the business of selling games and I feel they missed out on a big chance here.
By comparison, Gamestop (ick) got $80 from me.
B&H Photo online got $80.
Office Depot got $60.
Costco got $40.
GOG, last week, got $4 from me for a copy of Redneck Rampage.
I wanna support you, but I want... sales on games I care about! Thanks. You have the rest of December to get us half off Carmageddon, Shadow Warrior, Street Fighter Alpha 2, Painkiller, Urban Chaos... any of your FPS really. Hell, I'm still wishing for Judge Dredd and Phatasmagoria 1 (I bought part 2 on a sale earlier in the year because I never got a chance to own Puzzle of Flesh... part 1, yes.)
