Not only was it a fantastic game that never got boring... it was an Obsidian game that did not crash of bug out every 20 seconds. Did Obsidian FINALLY make a good game?!?!?!? :P
Woah! I've been extremely curious about this game.

Tell us more!
I never had a crash or bug with South Park at launch. Game rocks but abit on the short side.
Finally make a good game? What did you think of Fallout: NV, NWN2: Mask of the Betrayer, and KOTOR2.

Good Obsidian. You did good with Star Wars and South Park. Now hurry up and ask Warner Bros. to make a Middle Earth game ;)
When I first heard about that game I thought that it would have just a lot of humor (which isn't bad) but very little content, bad gameplay, little content, etc. In other words, I thought that I would be very simple. I think that maybe I wouldn't have thought that if I had seen that Obsidian was making the game, but that's the past.

But then I saw some gameplay videos (not all the game, as that'd ruin it for me) and it looked like a really good game. Its combat seemed entertaining, the jokes were really funny, it appeared to have enough content, I realized that it had many things to interact with; so I ended liking it a lot from what I saw.

I know it may sound dumb that I thought that it wouldn't have any of those things as it is an RPG, but at the time I saw that it was based on South Park so my brain immediately decided to think that it wouldn't be good enough, like many other movies/series based videogames. I know that there actually exist many games based on mvies/series that are really good, but yeah... I thought that I would be a simple game who only South Parks hyper fans would like, but I was completely wrong! :D

But before really judging I need to play it myself!

Edit: Yep, I need to play it before judging...

As released, KotOR2 is a good 2/3 of game. ;)
I liked this game. A little bit short, combat needs some more balancing, but other then that an excellent South Park game attempt.

I really wish there was more locations, South Park is just a little to small. I was hoping they would release expansions, but it looks like the game is officially dead now.

I would love DLC focusing on the Mall, Casa Bonita, Imaginationland, and heaven/hell too. Those would be classic/epic.

ps. this game has a lot of little details from past South Park episodes, if you play the game, hopefully you'll see them sprinkled through out the game. Thumbs up here.

Now if Obsidian can make an exploration focused Star Trek game, I would be happy.... hell if any company can make an exploration focused Star Trek game, I would die.
I'm tired of all these combat focused Star Trek games, I want to focus on ship design (hull, room placement, crew assignments, etc), setting up away missions, anaylize/researching on stuff from away missions/found in space, anomalies, Q!, etc.

Never had too much problems with them, must be different games that I'm playing. Mask of the Betrayer is #12 on RPGCodex's top RPGs and one of the finest writing in games I've ever played. Fallout: NV #8, and it was built on beth's crappy Fallout 3 engine, which explains the initial bugs but honestly I did not have much problems with NV, a month or 2 after launch. KOTOR2 was rushed by LA but whatever was released was a fine game nonetheless, as usual with writing and dialogue much better than the Bioware counterpart.
Yeah another recent game that I really wish would show up on GOG! Here is the Wishlist!

KOTOR2 had dull characters and a serious pacing problem. I would say the same for New Vegas. Lots of Dull characters, too much empty desert and very little to do. Never mind the day one bugs and glitches I put up with to play it. Can't do the usually "Blame Bethesda" shit because I never had a problem with that until the past year for some reason.

OK that's one opinion, however mine is that the actual 'game' part of the game is rubbish of the highest calibre.

The story and art are pure South Park and that was worth the price of admission, however the parts Obsidian were responsible for.. the actual mechanics and 'gameplay' is garbage.

I'm not particularly good at games, I like them but I certainly couldn't win a tourney but I stuck this one at hardcore, and despite random messing around I didn't die once, or even come close to it... The game is no challenge whatsoever, granted I'll admit hardcore gamers aren't really the main audience but to make a game with absolutely no challenge whatsoever.. is typical Obsidan.. good ideas, piss poor execution... and it's far too short, coming in at about 17 hrs and the collecting is, more than usual for a game, obviously padding.

If you love SP it's worth it, but if you are looking for an actual game, look elsewhere.

Who the fuck wants a South Park game for a challenge? If you want that kind of crap play Dark Souls man. The game did not over stay its welcome which is definitely a good thing. The combat was short and fun, again not over staying its welcome. Seriously... a South Park game for a challenge?!?!?!?

Well it's suposed to be a fucking game.. you know.. to play as opposed to just sit and watch it happen.. that's what the episodes are for.

3 difficulty levels and they all suck.. and it's ME that's making that comment.. it's must be easy

I don't agree with you on the "finaly they made a good game part" because I love Obsidian and their games ( KOTOR 2 is underrated).
But yeah, SP:TSoT is one of the funniest games that I bought this year. The story and jokes were what I expected from South Park and I wasn't bothered by the short lenght of the game. It felt like I watched a season of the show.
