I had a little smirk about this 42 minutes ago, and will do same time tomorrow

Wishbone: Every time I look at my computer clock or my phone, and the time happens to be 13:37 (we use 24h here in Denmark) I have a quiet chuckle.
Most countries do. The rest of the world is just too stupid to realize that the 24h system makes SENSE, especially in our 24 hour society.

amusingly a friend tried to counter that once with "but imagine a 24 hour analogue clock!" to which I showed him dozens. ;)

I've seen them, but here at least, those are more or less novelty items. We use 12 hour analog clocks, but we're generally intelligent enough to know when we look at the clock, whether it's 2 o'clock at night or 2 o'clock in the afternoon ;-)

All our digital clocks are 24h though.

Same here. And 19:42 makes me think "Battlefield time".

Zolgar: years in a convenience stores, I saw all manner of numbers pop up as totals. 13.37 is fairly uncommon, but happens.

My favorite? When it came out to 6.66, and the customer would be like "Oh god!" and buy a 25 cent pack of gum or something.

GameRager: Yup....as if God would smite someone or damn them eternally for spending 6.66....everyone knows 9.99 is the amount to watch out for. ;)
This reminds me of people who play D&D or listen to heavy metal and then "find god"....so they decide to burn all their stuff because "god wouldn't like it." I always say "Really? Do you think god appreciated your polluting his planet when you burned all that stuff?"

One of the lesser known commandments:
Thou shalt noot listen to any music beyond Church-Approved Gospel, nor shall you play any games not approved by the Church.

From what I've heard, the Christian church's (<-major generalization) problem with D&D and fantasy literature is that they have false deities, and when you play or read something with a false deity or two in it, you're worshipping 'em somehow. A guy who listens to a Christian religion radio channel told me that they were saying so.

Back when I was in high school, I always tried to get home at 13:37 without checking my watch while walking home. Every time I managed to do it, I immediately felt like/decided that the day wasn't a complete waste :)

It also teaches us that magic is good an acceptable. >.>

Remember, when something unexplainable happens at the hands of man, it's magic and bad. But when something unexplainable happens to the benefit of (some) men, but not directly by any of their hands, it was a Miracle and thus good.

Also, Moses was an epic level sorcerer!
