GoG is currently releasing a so called "New wave of Atari games".
Desperados:Wanted Dead or Alive was a game made from Infogrames.I think Alone in the Dark too. Just because Atari bought Infogrames I don't think all Infogrames games are renamed after Atari. The maker stays eternal no matter the current owner.
And besides when you start the game, the company's name is shown clearly. I haven't seen any new copy of Desperados where the logo of Infogrames is removed and replaced with the one of Atari.
Clean and legit Atari games are Asterix & Obelix XXL , Fahrenheit , Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure etc.
Why don't they put them in the "Atari wave" instead?
I see that they are focusing more in Infogrames games rather than Atari.
For all I know, they can grab Outcast from the already released game list and put it in the Atari wave too.
What's the point? Atari has released many good games. No reason to mix it with another company's titles.
