Man this game was way harder than Diablo 1.

My Grips:

Dungeons and Overworlds are so big and long they almost take forever and with fighting the same demons using the same attack strategy it becomes extremely tedious and I get detached from the game.

This game Multiplayer orientedness really butchers the single player aspects, why do potions don't heal instantly, There are some enemies that are meant to be countered by another class entirely like Blue Desert Beetles that when attacked spreads lighting all over the floor screwing over Melee fighters. The above sentence also applies.

And I am starting to understand why people say Diablo 1 was scarier, only scary places was all of Act 4 and dungeons in Act 1 and 2.

Pros:

YOU CAN RUN AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO CLICK THE MOUSE CONSTANTLY TO ATTACK! :D

Classes are more varied and unique, Hammerdin Paladins was my playthrough.

And though I hade my grips with the open world I still like it to some degree.

Well I beaten 2 classic PCRPGs, next game to beat is Morrowind.
I also prefer D1 over D2.
Respect, I've never got past act 4 on hell difficulty
what difficulty? You don't actually finish Diablo games unless on Hell.

By the way, have you seen a doctor yet? You clearly have an OCD - creating a new thread about almost everything you do or think.
You have to finish it on hell to actually "finish" it...

I have made threads before where I beaten games I have never played before and offer my review and opinion.

Also there is no way in hell am I doing hell mode unless I play with a group of people, but than again I am not interested in that :P

Elmofongo: snip
but it's another diablo thread I see from you... Couldn't uou just post in your old one?

I created a thread about war movies, about board games and tv shows, and when I think there's something new and interesting to say I post there, I don't create a separate thread for everything...

I'm not ordering you around, but think about it.

For the last time... Play as a necro summoner, it's easy...

I am sorry, but I am a sword loving, armor clad, shielded armed Warrior or similar class loving man through and through.

And the hammerdin Paladin made everything just as easy as this necromancer summoner you say, imagine my playthrough just hitting with normal attack :P

On normal difficulty, for most class builds you can put a rock on left mouse button, go to the cinema, and when you're back, the game is "beaten"...
This is the greatest game Blizzard North ever produced. I beat the game several times with every character save the Amazon and the Necromancer.

Edit: I forgot the Druid. My personal favorite was the Assassin class.

I hated to play as a Sorceress online. If you're a sorceress you always are the one who is to find the Bhaal and open a portal in baalruns ;_;

and people shout on you if you don't find it quick ;_;

Heheh, and normal mode is a walk in the park compared to the higher difficulties.

Of course, higher-difficulty Diablo 2 isn't designed to be solo'd.

Dungeons and Overworlds are so big and long they almost take forever and with fighting the same demons using the same attack strategy it becomes extremely tedious and I get detached from the game.
One of the problems you might be having is that the drop-rate for magic weapons that actually have a damage bonus is actually quite low and merchants virtually never stock them. This means that melee characters who don't do heavy grinding are usually under-equipped for each act.

This game Multiplayer orientedness really butchers the single player aspects
Agreed, although this really only shows up in the higher difficulties.

why do potions don't heal instantly
Heh, gotta disagree with you on this. I find this vastly improves the game.

There actually are potions in Diablo 2 that have instant effect: the rejuvination potions. Quite frankly, they ruin the game. Higher-difficulty level monsters are all about 1HKO'ing players since people can just chug a rejuvination potion if they ever get too low. The gradual potions let the monsters be a challenge without having to resort to 1HKO-level damage to be threatening.

There are some enemies that are meant to be countered by another class entirely like Blue Desert Beetles that when attacked spreads lighting all over the floor screwing over Melee fighters
These aren't as bad as they first appear. The problem is that most players don't invest nearly enough stat points into vitality and are actually (unintentionally) playing glass cannons. If you actually put enough points into vitality, you can melee these nasty critters pretty easily.

what difficulty? You don't actually finish Diablo games unless on Hell.
In its fully-patched state, solo Diablo 2 hell difficulty is close to unbeatable legitimately. Synergies and the preponderance of immunities means that every character will eventually encounter monsters they simply are incapable of fighting at the higher difficulties. Ironically, the hammerdin is the only exception as (for whatever reason) blessed hammer has a damage bug that was never fixed and nothing is immune to it.

Respect, I've never got past act 4 on hell difficulty
I've only beaten Diablo 2 hell difficulty on my own merits before the synergy patch (mind you, I never played extensively after that point).

Haha, I love the fact about Diablo 2 on Hell, if you blink too much or for too long, you may accidentaly die :D
@Davin

I got my Vitality at 99 along with Strength and yes I did notice that I am not getting any good equipment through most of the game.

Espcially since there were no stronger swords so I had to use hammers :(
