It changes the game quite a bit, and throws in quite a few interesting additions. It's basically like Lord of Destruction for Diablo II, acting as an update to the original. During christmas, you'll be able to get it cheap, wait for that until you start playing.

Just as a heads up, that game has one of the most poorly optimized engines I've seen (Magicka seems to be the only one who's performing worse on great machines) and the expansion addresses that to some degree.

Which part? Don't people care about incentives? Wasn't Humble Bundle a huge driving force for getting new games ported to Linux? Won't the huge success of the THQ bundle lead to future Windows only bundles? Won't developers otherwise hesitant about porting their games to Linux wait for those future Windows only bundles? Isn't it the case that that would have been impossible if Humble Bundle had continued on with a strict cross-platform only stance? Isn't it the case that if Humble Bundle has kept their strict cross-platform stance some developers would have been conviced to bring their games to Linux just like they did with for example nearly all games in Humble Android Bundle 3 and Humble Indie Bundle V? Isn't it the case that people want to be treated fairly and equally?

I got the feeling Kristian won't be happy until every Humble Bundle will be PC Steam exclusive.....

They're a good reason why this probably won't happen in an Indie bundle.

Indie developers might want to be treated fairly and equally, but they're not equal to THQ. Not by a long shot, as far as public opinion goes (we here on GOG understand their games can be as good or better, but production values are worth a lot for the general public).

Also, as shown in those charts, it would only be worse for them, as Linux and Mac users pay a lot. I'd say THQ is the one missing an opportunity here.

So, don't worry, I don't think HIB is going to be making a lot of exceptions to their rules (they've done some before, anyway).

Yes, like getting on the bundle to make many sales. HB can demand cross-platform and DRM as usually, saying that this was only a one of bundle., or special themed bundles only.

Not if this a condition set by HB to be included in the next HiB. Any way - future windows only bundles will be windows only. This do not mean every bundle from now will be windows only, but there may be more bundles (which is good!)

Not at all - this things are not mutually exclusive. Most people tend to be very good making distinctions and not treat every situation as polar opposition.

Yes, but for some reasons you are set out to make sure that some games will not be done so - i.e. those which can not be ported and those to tied up with steamworks

The problem with the data argument is that so far except for Humble Indie Bundle V(and even that is still subject to change) this bundle has been by far the most successful one financially and I am sure Humble Bundle will want to replicate that be offering future DRMed, single platform bundles and developers will know that and some of them will wait for those to come around.

Why? Because you can then finally tell us "told you so".

Because when the next HIB comes out, and it won't be this way. You will say "but wait". Then the next HAB comes out, and you will say "but wait". Unless there won't be any Steam free/Linux bundles anymore, you will say "this is no indication, just wait"
