Ugh... I love Desura and it drives me CRAZY when the devs act like the DRM-free Desura releases of their games are neutered monstrosities. As if removing the DRM were like taking rusty scissors to the games testicles, they just abandon them.

How much did you guys go for and how did you distribute it? I went in for $35, with around $14-15 going towards charity and the rest to the developers, with a Humble tip of $0.00. Made it count towards the Linux average.

Because this does cost them money? And what is the percentage of DD gamers not using Steam 1%? Maybe less. That game is an online multiplayer game. There is absolutely no purpose in a DRM free version. Unless you want to play the shitty SP. Which is nothing anybody should

I really dislike this attitude shown here. Only because they don't cater to the sensibilities of a selected few, which are only held back by their own petty grievances with Steam they are bad? Should they spend additional, disproportional to the gamers affected, money and resources to cater to those?

Unless indie devs are currently swimming in money and can't find anymore hookers and blow they really shouldn't waste resources that way.

Some people really need to get some respect for the developers.

If people choose the LEGAL Torrent downloads featured in the bundle, does that mean it doesn't cost them for bandwith, as it is shared mostly from customers....?
