Individual Steam keys. Fuck.
Interested so far.

SimonG: Individual Steam keys. Fuck.
Now if anyone explains me why did they do that...their keys were quite abuse-proof.

Also bought this as soon as I got the e-mail.

Bough it for Splice and Waking Mars. Already have all the others from other bundles, and didn't really like any of them anyway.

timppu: Is this the first time there is a game included in HiB that does not contain a Steam key
Well there was the Voxatron Alpha and unfinished Cortex Command, Humble Bundle Mojam, Canabalt, plus some bonuses like Jasper's Journeys.

Don't forget that one game from the Fronzenbyte Bundle that STILL hasn't been released!

Splot, wasn't it?

Yeah, I think so. I haven't heard a thing about it since. And, I mean, it didn't exactly look complex. It was just a cute little platformer.

Have the Humble Download Servers cracked under the strain? I'm getting less than 50kB/s, and the first time I tried downloading the Windows version of Splice, the .zip file was corrupted.
As for the actual bundle: One of their weaker ones. Only one I'm really interested in is Machinarium, and only vaguely. Already have Superbrothers and Crayon Physics from previous HiB (Neither of which I particularly like). Waking Mars sound interesting, but... eh.
I made an attempt back in early/mid 2005 to forgo the typical gaming scene and switch almost entirely to PC indies. I reasoned that I'd save money buying significantly cheaper games, that because the games weren't corporate franchises they had more soul, etc.

I did this for like six months, and after playing games like Clash & Slash, Break Quest, and that game with that stupid frog boy thing... I'd be willing to take 1947321854 copies of Machinarium.

Yeah, my purchases are almost strictly from bundles and GOG sales now. Let me tell you, that's not saving me any money comparing to buying a single AAA title every month or so.

My backlog is way out of control though, so I guess that's something >_>

Quality wise, there are very many excellent indie titles, just gotta sort them out of the rest.

Very true. Indies are better than they've ever been, and if you game on PC, Linux, or Mac, games are cheaper than they've ever been. That doesn't bode well for the impulse buyer in me for sure.
Okay, can anyone download any of the windows versions? I've tried several times with both Splice and Waking Mars, and it's the same story each time. It starts out fine, downloading at about 2,5-3MB/s. Then after a while it suddenly slows down to around 50kB/s. After a few minutes of this, it suddenly stops, looking like the download is complete, but leaving me with a file that is too small and hence useless.

Is it just me, or does everyone have this problem?

The Android versions downloaded just fine to my phone through the Humble App, btw.

I managed to download Waking Mars just fine earlier.
