Is this idea continued somewhere?

I've found this but it is still not the full list.

I'm looking for the way to check integrity of downloaded files without running / installing them and this was good one.

I'll pastebin the current ones in moment.

Is it possible for you to put it somewhere in pure txt format also? It'd be easier to copy/download.

ZIPs are always easy to check, but these bins and exes are needed to run so md5 is nice to have.

The only thing missing from the pastebin above is "Crusader: No Regret" because I haven't brought it yet (I buy the new releases on Thursday).

I coded a Python script to find the hashes of files recursively in a folder.

Seems like a very useful tool to have.

If nothing else, people who download a game that has been updated by GOG would post a new Hash value for the setup file and other users who check their hash against the repository's most recently posted value would know that their game was updated since last download.

I use Wuala for file hosting. They do require an application that depends on Java, so this may be a deterrent to some.
