sbenrap: I'm very saddened to see Spate in this bundle, I have been a kickstarter backer for this game and saw all the blood sweat and tears Eric put into the game just to see it sink into obscurity.

I had thoughts of developing games in the past, but his experience pretty much killed it for me... I truly hope that game gets some recognition.
While I understand the sentiment [of being sad to see something you helped kickstart bundled after a relatively short time], I think there may be another side to it. While it probably equates to little in dollars and cents, being part of a Groupees bundle may be what the project needs to not sink into obscurity, as it will likely put it in the hands of thousands of people who wouldn't otherwise have given it a try. If only a fraction of those people discover that they like the game, it could mean a significant word-of-mouth boost to sales over time. Of course, this is just me speculating.

While that may be true if it was in one of the Humble Bundles, Groupees bundles usually seem to sell less in overall copies and average amount paid. So yeah, this most likely will not make much revenue for Eric. I hope you are right though and that it boosts the sales somehow.

As for the reviews, I admit I haven't finished the game yet (damned real life getting in the way, oh, and Tex ;) ), but from what little I played I loved what I saw.
Reviews where mostly favorable as well - http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/spate
One reviewer gave the game a 30 (3 others gave 80+) and the total metacritic sunk...
Nice, some good games in that bundle.
I'm starting to feel that Be Mine 13 is the Grimoire of bundles. Okay, that's massive hyperbole but it does seem like it's been starting "soon" for a looong time now.

Yeah, it "starts soon" since over 2 days now! *lol*

I read in the Groupees chat that the bundle is delayed because a developer apparently sent the wrong keys for a game.
Maybe it will start this month if we're lucky. :D

Oh come on, it's not as bad as it was with Be Mine X.

Anytime :)
Bundle is live.

$1+ for:
Legend of Dungeon
Antisquad
Alpha Kimori 1

$4+ for:
Nekro
Miasmata
The Longest Journey
Spate
Mystery Game

Bonus 1 of 7
Jacob Michael Peter Welch - Memetic Transmissions EP 7000 bundles.
As expected, too many Steam games. Well, lets see the bonus/mistery game
Very good bundle in terms of games, only 1 or 2 I have little interest in. More DRM-free options would've been better, sure, but most likely there will be at least a couple more among the 7 bonuses + mystery game.

Ah, it's finally live and the games are indeed nice except for the early access stuff. Buying it now. :)
Wow, Groupees has really interesting offerings for this Be Mine 13.

I get the whole deal, I had Alpha Kimori from a "anime bundle", but indiebundle.org closed and kind of never replied to my request of a Steam key for it, along with the other greenlighted games.. Planet Stronghold and QuestRun.

Miasmata, I have it from GOG, but I prefere an entry to my consequent Steam library over any installer.

Legend of Dungeon and The Longest Journey I have on Steam already, their key will join my growing trade list, made exclusively of doublons huhu..

Finally, Antisquad does look entertaining, it has a Team Fortress 2 cartoon design to it even though I usually dislike turned based tactics on grids beside the few exceptions of Shining Force and some Robot Taisen games I will give it a fair chance. Nekro I did not look properly but as an early acces, that is more players to test it out and make it a better game.. Spate looks psychic, so three original additions to the BM 13.

And yet a mystery game and bonuses to come.. Definitely one of their best, IMHO.

I was under the impression Antisquad was Turn Based, not Real Time. Am I mistaken?
