cmdr_flashheart: Mousecraft, Race the Sun, and Drox Operative all have steam trading cards.
I think Race the Sun is the only one that fits the hints, out of those. Mousecraft doesn't seem to have "action" elements, and Drox Operative's release date doesn't fit (had to be released on Steam in less than a year ago.

Oh yea, you're right- it's Nov 2012 and I read '13.

Actually, I just noticed it was added to Steam in Feb 2014, so I guess it could still be Drox Operative. Depends on what Jonny meant by the release date hint.

EDIT: Is Drox Operative available DRM-free?

Yup

Well, I read that he said "less than a year", which could mean anything from 7-11 months because if it was less than that, then it would make sense to say "less than half a year". So maybe it's not something that recent.

But lol, we'll found out soon enuff ^^

Jonny's artwork hint for the mystery game is now up.

So League of Legends it is, then.

Someone on groupees thinks its Bioshock Infinite - Burial at Sea. I don't think it's a good fit for everything else which is in the bundle, but maybe I am wrong.

Well if you click on the icon for the mystery game, it lists PC and Mac (no linux) and DRM-free (Mousecraft and Race the Sun are both on Linux)
Oh yeah, if it was linux as well, they would have mentioned it.

Other games it could be:

Super Splatters

BIT TRIP FATE

Worms Clan Wars
Could be Stick it to the Man, if the drawing is supposed to represent a "stick". It fits all of the hints, and it's even sold on GOG, so there's a DRM-free version.
The mystery game artwork got updated again.
Looks like Valdis Story, but it's not available on Mac, afaik.

How does the artwork look like Valdis Story? I don't see any similarities.. Anyway, I doubt it's Valdis Story, even if it matched all of the hints, it would be too good to be a mystery game. It's more appealing than every game in the bundle, and would greatly outsell most of them during a normal sale.
The various shades of blue, the rock in the forefront with part of the "V", I think, and what looks like a sinking ship in the background. Just my thoughts, but maybe because I've been playing too much VS ^^

I don't think it's a blanket rule that the Mystery Game has to be shit or not that good because previous Be Mines have had Eador Master series and Call of Juarez. Also, I think Sang-Froid and Valdis have both been the same price in the past on Steam, so it doesn't seem like a bad fit.

Not saying that the mystery game will be crap, I actually think it'll be good.. but I don't think it'll be mind blowing. Valdis Story is what I would consider mind blowing. It's Humble bundle quality, far too good to be a mystery game in a Groupees bundle. I think there's only one exception (that I can remember, there might be 1 or 2 more) where a Groupees bonus (not even a mystery game) was Humble quality, and that was La Mulana. No idea how they snagged that, but they got really lucky and it's never been bundled again.

If they did somehow manage to snag Valdis Story, I'm sure it would've been featured in the main bundle from the start.

Maybe you're right, I don't want to raise up hopes here, lol.

The artwork was updated too, and I don't think my guess fits:
