Roman5: I don't think this is required the current logo is already very good, maybe a new mascot though?

keeveek: what is the current mascott? Why GOG would need a mascott anyway?

The bear seems to be the unofficial mascot.
If they ever did come up with a new mascot, I reckon it should be a clockwork robot called GogCog.
I like the bears, but if they did get a new mascot, it should be a server gremlin.

Oh, and the logo definitely doesn't need changing.
GOG logo is fine as it is. Leave it alone, you!

Yeah, there is no way that THAT name could spectacularly backfire. "Hehe, you said cock!" *snicker*

I don't think this should be considered a gog mascott. A lot of companies use one theme to present all common error pages, but that doesn't make them a mascott.

GreenManGaming has a mascott, that's for sure.
Meh, I think it's more important that they redo the game shelf so that one can organize it as one pleases, and I also think that the forum could do with an overhaul. For example, I think implementing categories would be great, and also to make the "search" function more visible. (Don't know about you guys, but it happens regularly that I search for a keyword in the "game search" tab.)

What do you mean?

Well, the major problem right now is that I can't leave spaces between games - they're all one huge block of games. I used to sort them alphabetically and by game genre when spaces were possible, and I would like that possibility to be reintroduced.

I also want to be able to group games together. When I have arranged my games alphabetically and by game genre, I want to be able to move all of them around at once instead of one by one, while the arrangement is kept the way it was.

Last, I also think it would be great if I could mark the games I have finished as "finished". I know I have the "hide" function, but I use that to hide games that sucked so bad I don't ever want to play them again and would rather pretend they're not part of my collection in the first place. ;)
These are some fine ideas, but I don't think that's GOG priority, especially when games catalogue is broken and is not showing many crucial games :D

I know, and I, too, think the catalog should be fixed before the game shelf is. I just think that the game shelf should be a much higher priority than the logo (, which I also happen to think is fine the way it is).

That being said, I actually think that the reintroduction of spacing in the game shelf should be something GOG prioritizes. Not the top priority, but definitely up there, because it puts a dent in my (and probably others') user experience of the GOG website.
The logo and the unofficial mascot are fine.

keeveek: Never. This logo is freaking amazing.
I agree that it shouldn't change, but it isn't that good ;)

It's the best. I would recognize these colours and font anywhere, anytime. And this is what amazing logo should have :P

Small changes like for Intel would be OK. Except I hope GOG doesn't assemble a crack team of top experts to design the new logo and spend billions on focus groups before embracing it.
