Anyway, I kinda agree with Vitek about Amok - I also think that a mafiosi would have continued the act, and validated, for instance, a scumbuddy's "clue". Or taken the chance of validating a townie's. I see only twnie reasons to drop the act at some point.

But on the other hand he is, yes, a liability. First because nothing from him can be trusted - even as a townie he might keep miseading us with random claims and statements, part of half-baked stratégies that just divert us from actual scumhunting. Then because it would REALLY be annoying to end the game and find out that "haha, this was a lie too". Amok, as a townie, makes us waste time and effort, something that we can deal with by lynching him once and for all - or try to ignore in order to avoid further "waste" but at the cost of insecurity and, possibly, continuing perturbation.

Amok may not be scum, and I feel that, even as a townie, he corners us into lynching him. And that is annoying. Anyway, it means that I would agree to lynch him, even to hammer, but, while this is being discussed, I keep my vote on the one I actually believe to be scum.

I think that, without Nmillar, I'd be voting Amok at this point, just to "stabilise" this issue.

Okay, so, what is not obvious is :

1) Frances is a male name ? I have never heard of Frances as a male name. But, again, I had never heard Edie either, so, well.

2) Frances is indeed part of a "messirs" in the OP (so, if it's wrongly attributed to a man, it's Joe's fault).

3) TwilightBard mentions a clue about Frances Page, but is confused about the gender. "A Mr. Frances Page" on and [url=http://www.gog.com/forum/general/gog_mafia_19_a_slalom_mafia/post505]Should be a Mrs. Frances Page after my miscorrection (it that a word ? it's a concept). Not sure how it can be discussed with Joe's terrifying threat, but it can mean two things : Ether a laconic clue that indeed leaves gender open to interpretation (but then why would the first interpretation be -coincidentally rightfully- male, if then it is presented as an obvious mistake requiring a disfunctional brain), or an invented clue based on gender knowledge, which was then pulled back as meant to be unknown ("woot, was i supposed to know that frances is male ?"). To be honest, I'd love this confusion to be telling something, but I feel it's pretty unconclusive, and is only the sort of thing that gets a retroactive "but of course!" meaning, whatever it turns up to be... Still, mentionning it, in case somebody spots an "aHA" in it.

4) Why didn't anyone correct my list, as I kept using "Frances" as female in it ?

It did not fit in with my agenda of of being a non-gender dog at the time :)

I'm all for enjoying the game and having a laugh, but 'enjoying' by not really putting any effort in to hunt scum and help town puts p1na right up there on the scum list as well
