Vitek: Sorry, I should have trust your judgement more. I will do it next time.
Have you at least done it?
I protected Pina tonight.
My flavour only tells that I was fighting sleep all night guarding his room, though, nothing about protection.
Oh, don't worry about it. Not trusting my judgement is generally the right decision to make, considering my playstyle. It just happened to backfire this one time.
Yes, I went to Darko's room, and I got nothing. I did learn that I look my best on a four piece, which is not that useful since I don't know what a 4 piece it.
On other matters, I decided to trust CSPVG from now on. The way I see it, he will never lie, as there's only 1 mafia remaining. Either he's town and his readings are honest (still leaves the blasted numbers and whatnot as concerns to his accuracy) or he's mafia and he can't afford to say someone else is the culprit since he'd be lynched the moment that person flips town. So, if CSPVG clears someone, I'll consider that person clean for now. I see the point of the conflicting flavour, but generally speaking I wouldn't consider it particularly important. I agree with Vitek on that, and I can see Joe (who was pretty busy and might have had to rush it a bit) just telling each one the flavour separately without thinking of the conflict that generates. That said, you guys have played mafia a lot more than I have, and will likely know Joe better than I do. So if you all think this is not something that should be brushed away, then I'll oblige. In that case, I'd like to point out that CSPVG was the first to say something about Vitek's sleep, and Vitek's post about staying outside my door only happened later.
That leaves Vitek out this time, and I know I'm not mafia, so I have to choose between Flub, Darko and CSPVG himself. I'd like CSPVG to remain to clear someone else next night, and I'm curious about what would happen if flub is targeted again as the previous visit was inconclusive. Actually, I'm surprised CSPVG hasn't done so already. I'd vote for Flub on those grounds alone, but that would only leave CSPVG with Darko and me as possible investigation targets: Darko can't be targeted AFAWK and I know myself to be town, so having flub lynched would not help me get anything out of CSPVG's investigating. That leaves Darko for me to vote for, then hope for CSPVG to investigate flub. If CSPVG declares flub to be mafia, vote for flub tomorrow. And if he's town, it would leave only me not investigated and potential mafia, which would make his investigation pointless and leave me on a rather difficult situation on who to vote for.
However, that's an scenario without nightkill. With nightkill, therew will be 3 people left tomorrow for a mexican standoff. Darko is the only one 100% guaranteed not to be nightkilled, as if he's town he's a commuter and if mafia he won't kill himself. Maybe the remaining mafia attempted to kill him tonight? Or was Vitek's theory accurate, and he can choose either commuting or nightkill, and he expected my visit tonight thanks to Vitek and chose commuting tonight? Will he be unable to kill anyone if we keep investigating him?
Well, this is as far as I'm willing to think at this point.
