I don't think the knowledge he shared put the town in danger. However, he did reveal he possesses more knowledge compared to regular town members, which turns him into a nice target for the mafia.
I think we should ask ourselves whether this information should go with Rodzaju to the grave. Thoughts?

Rod, I'dat least like to know what you expected to achive. Have you wanted to save yourself from lynch by outing some knowledge, have you tried to contact those players because...hmmm... you wanted them to save you, was it to share knowledge before your "inevitable" lynch (while being at L-4) or is there some other reason?

How can you want us now to just drop it? If you want people to ignore you shouldn't bring it up in first place.

You may think that, but you don't know that. No one of us can actually know that, as no one knows what kinds of roles are floating around except the mod, and there are far too many possibilities to try and guess anything at this stage.

As I kept repeating over and over again in M8, giving out information for free in this game is always stupid. Let me add that in some cases, it is also foolhardy and potentially very dangerous.

If by this you mean that you want to extract this information from him, I emphatically say no. If he's town, it can only do more harm than good.

And there can be mafia name cops in the game, for example, who may reach some sort of conclusion from that. There may be a player, on either side, who knows some other names and may use this information to piece something together. We don't even know how or why Rodzaju himself knows these names. As I said, the possibilities in this game are endless, and ViolatorX hinted that this setup will not be entirely straightforward.
Not on day one. In the early stages of the game, full, trustworthy information is nothing but a sure-fire way to get yourself killed.

Hey guys, I'm in Aalborg at the moment (Live in Copenhagen) for a uni course, which has taken quite some time to prepare for, and will take my attention elsewhere. From friday onwards, my activity MIGHT increase.

In terms of the game, I'm quite surprised the vets haven't picked up on my extremely uncharacteristic lack of activity during this first day, and especially during RVS :O

But things are moving along interestingly, and certain people sure do ping my scumdar, and not the people most might think, at least from what they write :p

I'll try to pop on in more during the week here, but time might dictate inability to do so, as might lack of internet at the palce where I stay :p

What possible setup would give that information to the mafia at game start?

Its never easy at the start - just keep reading the threads, pick up on what other people say, look at their logic for saying it. None of us know who the Mafia are at the moment, its only supposition and (mostly) shaky logic.

Take an overview - people are giving Rod grief for coming out with info at this early stage. Think why they might be doing that. 2 reasons - he has claimed to know more than a vanilla would, which hints at a power role. If you are Town, you wouldn't do this because you are telling the Mafia you have a power role, thereby making yourself a target for a nightkill.....

If you are under lots of pressure ie only 1 or 2 votes away from being lynched, then you would disclose information to save yourself, especially if you have a power role. But to volunteer such when miles off being lynched is not a pro-town move.

Just look at each post and think - 'Is that post in any way helpful to town, or is it not?' That simple maxim can go a long way to helping you to decide if the poster is dodgy or not.

And trust no-one. Start with the idea fixed firmly in your head that EVERYONE ELSE is Mafia.

And what about being at L-4 and not getting lynched? It's not the same having 4 votes on D3 or even D2 in 12-players game and here.

Why would you mark BAZ as special?
