JoeMD: However, as I can't find (and now may have lost, due to the installation) the partly downloaded file I'd need you to up-load the whole thing to a torrent. If you can do that though I can use FDM to download it as it manages torrents quite well.
xyem: Hm, I was using the fact that you already had just short of 50% of the installer as proof that you had already purchased the game from GoG. If you have to get the file again from scratch, you may as well download it from GoG again as it would be significantly faster as the upload from me seeding would only be ~25kb/s and the machine I would be seeding from isn't online all the time.
Obviously this is nothing personal, but without any way of confirming you have purchased the game, I don't feel comfortable sending you the whole thing. Of course, if you find yourself in the same situation again during the re-download, I'd be happy to help get it completed.
I've logged a support call to see if my offer of making a distributed downloader can go any further than the offer phase :) Hopefully there will be a quick response!
That's fine, I understand that. I would like, however, to assure you I DID buy the game. I'm not big on torrents myself but I'm less fond of not getting what i pay for. If I need your offer in the future I'll let you know. ^_^
Hm. It does seem that the downloader is back up, and yet NO word from GoG here? Bit poor IMO.
Up Date: Has anyone tried the downloader now that the "add to downloader" link is back? For me I click the "add to Downloader" like but when I open the downloader it says the queue is empty. Clicking the refesh button does nothing as the downloadder just sits there with the refresh icon spinning (been going to 15 min now)
Up date 2: Ok, so the downloader finished refreshing but said I had nothing in the queue. So I tired again. Nothing. I closed the downloader, reopened it and nothing. Refresh. Still nothing. Guess the thing is still buggered.
