Well, within time I asked a couple of questions to the GOG support folks but never received an answer. My questions, I have to say, were a bit dull and not so particularly important and they were eventually resolved anyway (a new computer for me, a post here on the forum asking for if the problem was just mine and how it could have been resolved).
Maybe (and I say: maybe) this "support" stuff could be easily addressed with someone just answering to people that yes, they recorded the problem and are working on a solution or whatever....

stevenhwood: I am just blown away at the size of the forums for each game. So many CUSTOMERS have that many problems, and yes, like I have said it’s good that there are other CUSTOMERS helping and offering their knowledge and experience. But in the end it’s ultimately GOG obligation to render ad and replies, that’s all I’ve sad.

You're right, you are quite sad.
Other than that, if the support requests you've sent them were anything along the lines of the gobble you've shat out in this thread, you don't deserve a reply. If I was working customer support I'd put you on the fucking blacklist. And don't come saying "IMMA PAYIN CASTUMARRRRRR", because GOG will survive without your business. Troublesome customers are rarely welcomed in the long run at any store.
Don't expect GOG staff to be able to solve every problem you might have with a game. Ask politely in the game's forum and you might actually get a reply from someone, if there are anyone left who give a fuck at this point.
Try twittering them. They respond to twits rather quickly if I'm not wrong.

You're funny sometimes.
What is the issue with the Downloader? I'm not a coder just curious as to the actual problem. I use the downloader and it has a few issues sometimes, but it is still in beta so I kind of expected it to be a bit rough around the edges.
What I don't get though is why does it always crash when I start up the GOG Downloader program?
The second time I try to start it it then seems to work okay. Still Downloads the games great only had a few connection problems where it lost the connection when I downloaded Two Worlds.
But that is pretty good considering I had the downloader running constantly for 2 days straight so I am thinking that it may be some kind of latency issue?

The problem is that it's made with Adobe AIR, which is garbage.

Yeah that happens for everyone. GOG is aware of it. It'd probably be fixed by now but other stuff takes priority. There was a discussion with them awhile about it, can't remember exactly what was said but that was the jist of it.

AIR 2 was just released, so perhaps that'll help. No doubt GOG will improve matters further on their end before too long.

I uninstalled Adobe Acrobat reader. The updates nagging me all the time were driving me nuts.
So is Abobe Air a Flash based developer platform tool? It came with my computer along with a heap of other adobe apps I'd never use. when I first got it. I was like what the heck does this do O.o.

AIR is a cross-platform runtime environment (think Java) that runs RIEs (rich Internet applications) written in Flash, Flex, HTML or Ajax on the desktop as a regular app.

Trolling. Posting frequently gets you quite a bit I think.

You get rep for every day you post anything. It takes a lot to knock that down. In other words: rep means nothing.

I am just surprised, a few weeks back it was under zero.

I'm sorry we were not enthusiastic in supporting your near constant trolling. I'm sure you are extremely popular on the Steam forums.
