prakaa: Is Defence Grid any good?
Well, it's pretty much the definitive tower defense game. It's awesome, yes, get it.

Also, like roguelikes, eh? Definitely get yourself DoomRL - it had a massive update recently that added actual graphics. It's a really compelling roguelike that's easy to get into.
The Misadventures of P.B Winterbottom and Hamiltons Great Adventure are fantastic Indie Games. Get you thinking and really addictive fun games.

Would also look at The Ball and Xotic if you want first person type stuff, Xotic is a no brains required shooter and The Ball is a first person, adventure puzzle type game.

RaggieRags: Everyone who has played it appears to love "To The Moon".
This looks pretty interesting
I have Dungeons of Dredmor and I can highly recommend it! It's a ton of fun and has a great sense of humor.

LIMBO is an amazing Indie game! I'm not really into "puzzle" games, but I really enjoyed it...visually stunning with great gameplay. I'd give it a shot.

Edit: You can actually take me out of the Drawing...I have a TON of games I haven't gotten around to starting yet & I would much rather see this go to someone who is more deserving :)

gyokzoli: So you like Roguelikes... Then you might want to try Desktop Dungeons. Still in beta but looks very cool.

I'd also recommend SpaceChem. I have 40 hours in it and still only half way through the campaign. This game was the biggest surprise for me after I tried (I got it with an Humble Bundle).

If you like strategy you might want to try Greed Corp and Eufloria. Both have very simple rules and a decent campaign.

If you are into tower defense then I can recommend Gratuitous Space Battles and Unstoppable Gorg. The former has a unique approach the latter has a great atmosphere.
I've been eyeing Greed Corp and SpaceChem for a while. Never looked into any of those tower defence. The others I have

Magicka! And you should definitely get Dungeons of Dredmor ASAP.
Have you heard of Doom: The Roguelike, aka DoomRL? It's a combination of Doom with a roguelike which is just as solid as the original - made even more so by the recent graphical upgrade. Plus, it's totally free!

Also, thanks for the giveaway, prakaa!

Yup, good game! Playing it at the moment
Hinterland was a big surprise for me. It's not exactly indie, but from a small company and is usually very cheap on steam. You basically have to build a town from scratch, but every production house has a villager who can be turned to a companion and with a competent party you can then bash your way through the enemies scattered about.

Alternatively, you should try Eschalon: book 1 and 2 if you haven't already.
Dear Esther would be my recommendation

Well, if you like roguelike games I think the best ever is NetHack (http://www.nethack.org/) :)
I would absolutely recommend Dungeons of Dredmor.
The game is VERY funny and VERY well-made.

The ancient evil that is Dredmor has risen once again, and the land is once again in need of a hero. Unfortunately, all it has is you.

The graphic style is deliberately made somewhat simple, but do not let it fool you - it is not an easy game to play. You definitely will die there as much as in any other roguelike game. However, what does make dying sweeter (sounds weird, huh) is that the game does not take itself seriously. Starting from the "Congratulations! You have died!" welcome-to-the-end screen and beyond that in choosing the skills for your character.

How about specializing in something like Fleshsmithing and Necronomiconomics? No? Than how about Emomancy and Killer Vegan? The choice is yours. But all those countless combinations make re-starting the game with a new set of skills equally rewarding as playing it. Anyway, if you hate dying there are always three difficulty levels available along with a Perma-Death switch-off.

Also this game would reward you for reading - not that you HAVE to do it, but if you WILL you will find lots of wacky things around you in the dungeon. Killing a bunch of Sickly Diggles ("Sickly Diggle (Poingus Poingus) A strange little bird-thing that tunnels through walls with its odd, rubbery nasal appliance. This one looks like it has some kind of disease." with a Crude Stone Axe ("By paleolithic standards this axe is a high tech terror-weapon. By yours, however, it belongs in a museum.") and getting Diggle flu? Yeah that could happen.

The rogue mechanics is also all there - with lots of tinkering, brewing and mushroom growing.
You will mainly have to survive on booze and cheese, so I hope you like those. There are at least a couple of dozens of various cheeses in the game and even more drinks (mostly alcohol-containing).

The only faulty point in it I could find via reviews was "it can get too repetitive". Well, I guess this is because of the genre - rogue-like games DO tend to make you grind (even though in recent versions there is a "less grinding-same exp" switch).

If you want to know how the games was.... created? (after reading the interview you would surely think that "emerged from chaos by accident" would be more appropriate) you can read this http://www.diygamer.com/2011/10/dungeons-dredmor-sonic-porn-gaslamp-games-origin-story-interview/

The best video review of the game for me is this one by TotalBiscuit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pyTfUnnxZV4

P.S. Sorry for a long post I just hope this game gets the attention it deserves.

Dungeons of Dredmor is one of my favourite new discoveries.
Great game with a lot of variation in charachter build, which you don't often see in this kind of game.

Fortix 1 is another that I like a lot & it's a quick game to play.
Each level takes no more than 5 minutes.
Fortix 2 has the same gameplay, but I was not so keen on the graphics.
