orcishgamer: Enslaved: Odyssey to the West was way better than I'd ever hoped. Caveat: the story is only 8 hours or so, but you can often find it on sale for under 30 dollars, given its quality that's more than fair, imo.
Castlevania Lords of Shadow was also really good, if you don't like the idea of a God of War type game that is actually hard, skip it, if you do, you'll squee like a twelve year old girl buying her first makeup.
Dude, where are you finding these cool games? Me no see Castlevania anywhere. Or are you referring to recent console titles?
CaptainGyro: I'm still kinda confused on how the ps2 and ds games were" the same frigging thing over and over again" but pc gaming is a garden of fresh originality in comparison. The amount of variety of games on those 2 systems is pretty huge
Well, I'll give it to ya - three of the most original games that I've ever played
Monster Hunter
Katamari Damacy
and
Robot Alchemic Drive
Were PS2 titles.
I guess it would be more fair to say that because of a larger selection of games, especially from independent companies, it's easier and more affordable to find more variety on PC than it is console.
