Well, I'm kinda retrograde, I played Halo1/2 on PC, and I played CoD1/2 on PC. That's all I know about Halo and CoD.

For me every MMO is up in this category. A lot of games love it. I hate it. I want sing-player games Only. Maybe a co-op from time to time, but no thanks for the MMO.

There are games so badly optimized, so their "system requirements" look more like "system extortions". I've heard some buzz about recent CoD, Ghosts, right? 6Gb of Ram for Quake 3 engine, something like that?

I'm not that impressed with 3e, kinda first dive.
As for the rest, well, that's why I prefer to stay away from magic, prefer something more controllable. Hm, maybe that's why people try to gift me hamster?

Ironic, I can shot pilot from 800 metres from KSVK in ArmA (not always, of course), yet I can't hit the broad side of barn from inside the barn when it comes to any other game's sniping.

I can usually hit a target on FONV from across the map...I think the max was like 900 meters when I was on the high ground, 850 on even ground.

And I always loved Minsc :D


Edit: Felt I should add that this was with the Anti-material Rifle and 100 Guns, as well as 100 stealth, 10 perception and agility.

Don't know if this counts as I actually enjoyed the game but I was pretty disappointed with Limbo. I heard such great things about it and although it was fun, it just did not live up to the hype for me. I think I enjoyed the free flash game Coma more.

I do not remember a proper rangefinder, but it was rather easy to hit a target at maximum rendering distance, i.e. where it only appeared, or about to disappear. Never tried to fire "beyond horizon", though.

Excluding bonuses and penalties applied from skills, ability scores, and items, I think ballistic in FNV is hardcoded, meaning every gun has it's own spread cone, and if you remove abovementioned things from the equation, spread pattern will be the same. So SMG is coded to be inaccurate, no matter how hard you try to use semi-auto. Guess it's came from Oblivion. I think old Firearms mod for HL had similar approach - in semi-auto guns were accurate, yet should you switch selector into full-auto, even first (or any subsequent) single shot made will be innacurate.
Not that I want to undermine your achievement, rather than comment on bethesdaz haxorz mad skillz. Thankfully they released their animator before releasing skyrim and show him how real people move. Sort of.

But I really do want to understand why others like something I don't. I have only my standpoint, I can't view picture from other angles. So I ask my buddies about games they like and I don't, In some cases I may have some understanding, in some - no. They do same thing. Yet I can't explain why I like Witcher so much, if I don't hunt for sex cards.
One of mos ironic conversations I ever had with a buddy of mine was about ME3 - he liked it, I didn't. He asked me why I don't like it, I explained, he agreed, but couldn't explain why he likes the game. :D
