shadesofdeath320: The Modern Warfare series. Not that they couldn't have been good games, it is just the amount of 10 year olds on multiplayer who just run around lobbing grenades and dying, and pretending to be tough when they wouldn't even look me in the eye in person.
You can't judge a game by who plays it, that'd be like saying that ferrari's are bad cars because most people who drive them are arseholes or that eggs are bad because pol pot enjoyed an omlette occasionally

RowdyRodimus: Minecraft, right?

lackoo1111: bingo
and don't ask me why
Does it have something to do with 20 seconds of watching it giving you a mild headache and feeling of nausea? Thats what stopped me investigating it

I dearly love Minecraft, and I'll be the first to tell you it's not for everyone, and it's less a 'game' than a 'toybox'. I pick it up and play it for an hour every once in a while and consider it a good purchase, but it's really just a way to get away with playing with Legos as an adult ;)
Modern Warfare 2.
Well I have lego so I've already got the peak of awesome.

What I said about minecraft wasn't actually a criticism, like wolfenstein3d, the game (or to be more accurate youtube video of the game) triggers something in the back of my brain where the motion makes me feel a bit seasick and gives me a headache

Gotcha - my sister is the same way about a lot of games, I think she needed Dramomime (spelling? sounds like drugs for silent performers) after she tried Sonic Adventure DX Director's Cut.
Its only a very few games that do that to me, wolfenstein 3d does but duke 3d doesn't (it makes me feel a bit nauseous for entirely different reasons)
Left 4 Dead series - Found the first one way too boring but at least I managed to force myself to play through all of the original campaigns. Tried to play that first free add-on campaign but never got past the first stage as I was just way too bored with it. I've never completed an entire campaign in Left 4 Dead 2. I'm just glad I never paid for either of them (both were "complimentary" gifts from Valve).

Any and all "Mario" games. Can't stand 'em. Never will.

ovoon: Wow, why the hate for Bioshock? Thats one of my favorite games of all time. :|

GoJays2025: Have you played System Shock 2?
Why would a totally different, older game from years ago that was the inspiration for this one make any difference factoring my opinion?

I've been playing through Bayonetta and parts of that game just fuck with my head, especially the opening scene. The rock she's standing on just doesn't stop spinning in insane ways, and she keeps jumping to other rocks nearby. It was kind of awesome, but I still felt like I was about to throw up everywhere.
Mine happens to be an entire genre -> Racing. Can't get into them. Only one I ever really liked was Burnout Revenge.

All the rest, especially Gran Turismo -> tTTTTttTTTTHHhHHHhhhhhhhHHHHPPpPPPPPTttttttttTT!!!!!

Tonjevic: I find TF2 pretty boring a lot of the time. It certainly has a lot more character than many other multiplayer FPSes out there, but I inevitably find myself yawning after a half an hour, for some reason.
Yep same here. It just doesn't grab me...

LordGremlin: Call of Duty: Modern Warfail 2

Graphics are bad, animation - sub-par

captfitz: dunno how you can support this part...the game was beautiful if nothing else
I've played a lot of PC and PS3 games, so... Look, MW2 graphics are nothing special, seriously.

Whiteblade999: -Borderlands (Repetition and that horrible ending)
Oh, yes, I can't believe I forgot this one. It pretty much only had four kinds of enemy in the whole game, none of which were dynamic enough to stand up on their own. Lots of repetition, a boring-ass world without much character (hardly any voice acting). Lifeless towns with only this irritating-as-fuck claptraps to keep you company screaming "WELL HELLO NEW QUESTS ARE AVAILABLE ON THE BOUNTY BOARD" blah blah. And the weapons barely gave me a sense of progression, in spite of the fact that there were 25 million of them or whatever.
I also typically found the class abilities pretty middle-of-the-road kind of stuff. It was marginally improved by co-op multiplayer, but I can't help but feel that it succeeded neither as an RPG, nor as an FPS.

I'm sure there are other games which should be on my list, but I usually spare them very little consideration after getting bored with them, so I'm having a hard time thinking of them. Oh, wait, just thought of a whole category of games:

Button-combination fighting games like Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter etc.. I simply cannot be bothered to memorise the sequence of a dozen or so keypresses to pull off a certain move. More often than not, I was able to simply beat my more experienced opponent by button mashing. I don't find these that fun, preferring Smash Bros.
I didn't like Resident Evil 4. Way too difficult, and not in the fun Super Meat Boy kind of way.

Ah yeah, I forgot to include that in my list. I don't mind playing games like Mass Effect on Insanity difficulty, but RE4 was way too frustrating on normal. I beat the it, but I just despise the game.
