The thing is, I'm bored and trolls are kind of entertaining, but I don't want to bump your troll thread up anymore. I'm glad you think that repeatedly stating something but providing no proof amounts to an adequate defense. Going by that logic, this must be a troll thread because I've called you a troll several times. Though perhaps the fact that my point isn't entirely baseless invalidates my argument. I'm not entirely sure how your logic works.

You didn't dispute the point I was actually making, which was that the 19th century democrats were not on the left. I didn't deny that the KKK had roots in the democratic party, because that part is true. I was denying your claim that the KKK had its roots in 'the left'.

It isn't. It's a centrist party at best. Unfortunately the US doesn't have a left wing party (not one that stands a chance anyway.)

If Democrats were an European party, they would be classed right wing to far right. Republicans would be branded an extreme right party. There's nothing remotely left-wing in those parties - heck, I don't think even extreme right parties are anti-gay here in the EU (except for the southern countries). Heck, Pim Fortuyn was gay and was leading an extreme right party.

Don't be so harsh. If everything was so politically correct or some legal mumbo jumbo, it would get boring fast.

We have a lot of political discussions here and a lot of politically incorrect humour, but there's always respect. JCD-Bionicman has been warned time and time again about his trolling and he just never seems to learn.

You have to consider his posts from a wider perspective. He isn't seeking to engage in political discussion, he's seeking to push his far-right agenda and troll anyone who doesn't agree with his views. We have other conservatives on this board - I think HereForTheBeer is one, as an example - who have expressed their conservative views with a great deal more respect.

There must be one or two decent post amongst them. Or perhaps I am wrong and should be punished. =) Could be that those reps really do kinda mean how do you behave in here.
