I don't really understand why everyone hates every Simpsons season after 9 or 10, and they're all saying everything made before then was actually funny. Sure, it seems like the show is just pandering these days and the humor is really hit-or-miss, but I do enjoy watching the show still.

I understand your point. To be honest, I think the actual Simpsons are still one of the funniest shows on TV.
But it's just that, before season 10, The Simpsons was not just a "joke-to-another-joke" show, there were real stories, the characters had souls at that time. The problem is, in my opinion, that the Simpsons characters are so famous and so part of the popular culture that the actual writers don't spend time on them anymore, "everybody knows them already, let's just put them in this situation, and in that one"...
Besides, it seems that all the good stories have already been written for the Simpsons, now it's just too delirious and incredible stories. Sometimes, I have the feeling of being watching a Family Guy episode, without the 'adult' jokes.
There are too many shows that I like to list here so I will say what I don't like. Stargate Universe! As much as I tried I just couldn't love Battlestar: Galactica. It was so depressing, so bleak so.. soul crushing. Now here is one of my favourite shows simply copying it. 6 episodes in and not even a smile. A good TV show needs a perfect blend of action, comedy and a good story. Battlestargate has none of these things.

You didn't like BSG? Because it was depressing and made it look like there was no hope until the very last episode (you should have stuck around, it was amazing)? I loved it for that exact reason.
SGU sucked. Really, it sucked the life force out of the whole SG franchise and ruined it, like all production companies without ideas do these days with old series.

I watched series 1 but never made an effort to keep watching. There was something I just didn't like about the whole hopelessness of the thing. I even watched that special Razor and that was just as bad. I'm not saying its a bad TV show, just that it wasn't my cup of tea at all. Deep Space Nine got pretty dark near the end of the Dominion war but it didn't stop them from including some wonderful scenes with Bashir and O'Brien or Quark and Odo. Not to mention the brilliant Garak.
The reason I stopped watching Voyager apart from the fact it was crap was Stargate SG-1. I felt that SG-1 was closer to the original Star Trek than Voyager could ever be. It had dark episodes, it had light hearted episodes and you always got some great dialogue between the characters even when the shit hit the fan. Stargate Universe is just copying everything from Battlestar right down to the gritty characters and manual zoom. I will continue to watch but its just not Stargate anymore.

Virama: Breaking Bad (Seriously, has anyone seen this? It's the MOST FUCKED UP series I've seen in years, easily more nuts than Sopranos and Weeds put together and bred to create an offspring...)

I watched the first season of it, It was pretty good I hope they bring back another. Also the bathtub scene was messed up, suprised they allowed something like that to air.

Stargate sucked after Richard Dean Anderson quit and it was starting to suck a little before then. Once a show gets to the point its making fun of itself for being on for so long its time to call it quits.
I like Lost okay, but it's a guilty pleasure... the mystery is neat, but I wish it was in more capable hands.
Mad Men might be my favorite show of all time - at least, there aren't many shows that I enjoy watching as much as I do this one. Sometimes you get beaten over the head with drinking and smoking while pregnant or a kid with plastic over her head, but the show doesn't rely on this stuff at all, and certainly isn't about that sort of thing. The characters are interesting, the colors and costumes are amazing (but maybe a little too perfect).... it's a great show. Sometimes it really blows me away.
I'm watching Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood too - I really like the themes presented in this show. Also watching Neon Genesis Evangelion, which has some amazing work put into the editing and very well-constructed angles/ideas for visuals - I'm really having a good time with that one.
The BBC version of The Office is also a pleasure to watch every once in a while.
Carnivale was kind of cool, but it really hurt this show being cancelled when you are watching it straight through... the plot was on the verge of exploding, but I'll never get to see it...
I used to love watching Tales of the Crypt when I was younger, but I can't remember if that's any good or not. There's definitely some gold in there somewhere.
Arrested Development is quite literally incredible comedy at its finest. Every single aspect of a television show that could be used for comedic effect is exploited (that they were able to think of, anyways) and it's ****ing hilarious.
Lucky Louie is pretty funny at times, but the ideas come across in Louie C.K.'s standup, which is probably a better way to get at them.
Batman TAS is great, but I haven't seen very many - hoping to nab it on the cheap one day.
Band of Brothers - great.
Firefly - great, but I have to admit the writing makes me cringe every once in a while.
Futurama
Early Family Guy
Freaks & Geeks
Undeclared (to a much lesser extent than Freaks & Geeks)
Early Ren & Stimpy (another example of awesome animation)
STAR TREK TOS - Battling with Mad Men for favorite show of all time. It's just so, so great...
Oh crap, I forgot one of my favorite shows ever: It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Any show with Danny DeVito is a good one.
American Dad:
Marries Simpsons with Family Guy. It's a WIN-WIN situation.
The Ultimate Fighter:
The Ultimate reality show. What do you expect when you put testosterone filled guys in a house and give them nothing to do...
Who doesn't like Mythbusters should replace buster.
Babylon 5 was/is the best spacesoapopera. Some lackluster filler episodes don't luckily destroy this one. But it could have been so much better if only the makers could have followed their original plans for 5 season...

I watched the 1st episode of the new V series that was on TV yesterday. It wasn't a bad episode but I thought it was a little bit too fast that they already fought the visitors. But I vaguely remember the original series so maybe it was like that before.
