Just ordered the hardcover game guide from overseas. I'm definitely hooked.

Delixe: I guess everyone who hasn't played the game or got far in it should look away now.

***SPOILERS***

Sided with Mr House, helped the NCR mostly, helped the Followers, murdered the Brotherhood, helped the Great Khans, wiped out the Powder Gangers, wiped out the Fiends, helped the Kings, recruited the Boomers. Ended with highest good karma. Quite satisfied with the ending except I wasn't high enough with trust to unlock Boone's ending. Over all happy with the ending slideshow's with Mr House tempered by my good nature. Didn't save the Kings though, them calling a truce with the NCR was their death warrant :(
*********** SPOILERS **************

I'm helping NCR though I'm curious about Mr House. I'm liked by the Brotherhood of Steel. So I don't wanna kill them by going House's quests. For NCR's line you can persuade them to truce with NCR. Now that I'm vilified by the Legion again, I'm storming their camps and murdering them by the number. I probably will never help them coz I detest them. Going to storm the Fort next.

Hmm, my favourite faction is the Kings. When the King granted me a favour, I took the join Kings option, /facepalm. Luckily, I managed to persuade them to truce with NCR.

Well, I went on a rampage and killed every single Legionaire in Cottonwood Cove and then stormed the Fort and murdered and dismembered every single Legionaire in there too including Caeser. His tent was tough, since I'm on Hardcore and the stimpaks take time to heal and their guards keep stunning and hitting u simultaneously.

Anyway, there is a new Caeser:

Sided with Mr House,
***SPOILERS***

So with Mr House's questline, have you actually seen Mr House's real form? I'll leave you to find out.

***SPOILERS***
(Spoilers)

I went with the NCR. Rather unsatisfying, though, since all of the major NPCs were voice by "standard" voice actors. I also, in no specific order,
-allied with the Brotherhood of Steel
-wiped out the NCRCF (Powder Ganger base - if only they were called Powder Rangers)
-merged the V19 Powder Gangers with the Great Khans
-convinced the Great Khans to leave the Mojave Wasteland
-killed Caesar
-saved Benny
-kept Veronica in the Brotherhood
-convinced Arcade to remain as a doctor in Freeside
-negotiated a truce between NCR and Freeside
-let Mr. House live, albeit disconnected from the network
-told Lily to keep eating her pills as she had
-drove off the mercs outside of Jacobstown peacefully
-helped Goodsprings
-convinced Raul to put on his vaquero outfit again
-convinced the Remnants to assist the NCR
-convinced Cass to bring down the Crimson Caravan and Van Graffs by using the system against them
-gave Rex Violetta's brain
-gave ED-E to the Brotherhood
-gave Boone closure (I think)
-made Primm Slim the Primm sheriff

...and that's all I can remember from the endings. Obviously there were a number of choices as well that the developers seemingly forgot to put in an epilogue for, but I suppose that's fine.

Yeah I think you just need a bit of science.. You might have to talk to Nash first too. Not really sure if you have to though.

well, my first playthrough was...interesting.

Basically, I started out wanting to side with the NCR, but events rapidly overtook me to the point where I made New Vegas independent. I chased Benny down to the Legion encampment, where, despite me killing them by the bucketload beforehand, had pardoned me. From there I upgraded the robots and, being the ruthless pragmatist I was, had Benny crucified (my Unarmed and Melle were shit, and I wanted vengence), got the Platinum Chip back, went to Vegas, decided I was not going to be talked at by a bossy computer screen, refused to give Mr. House the Chip, was forced to killed all the Securotrons present (House turned them on me, even Victor), found Mr. House's chamber, unplugged him, installed Yes Man in his place.

From this point on, the NCR were inconsolable. So I got the help of the boomers (rusty old bombers FTW), the help of the Khans, ignored the Brotherhood, although only by virtue of me inadvertantly breaking the quest chain by trying to do Veronica's quest and have a change in management at the same time. By this point, I wanted to see how flexible the game was to me doing random shit, and to my gratification, not only did I manage to kill Caesar, but it got mentioned by Mr. NV, and even got a mention in the final quest. Killing him was a bitch though, since all the guys in his tent are melle, so I had to dash in, dash out, run, grab my rifle and pick them off as they emerged, and hope they did not converge on me too quickly.

Through a series of events (Cass' goddamn sidequest) I ended up with neutral rep with the NCR, so in the final battle I was joined not only by the securitrons and the Khans, but also by the neutral NCR defenders. Killed the top Caesar dude, told the NCR general to piss off, New vegas stayed independent, ended the game with fairly high Karma. (I'd like to think I played it as a good person who had a ruthless streak of pragmatism, as well as being somewhat blinded in the name of vengence)

Oh I did that as well, the game seems to think it is ultimately for the best, certainly better than the NCR martial law, anyway (have never tried installing the ex-sheriff.)

Well, it was a million billion times better ending than the FO3 one, thats for sure.

Great... A quest bugged out and now I can't complete it. Lame.

Which one and how? You can cheat the quest ahead a notch with the console (using the PC one) but it'd probably disable steam achievements

I'm melee specced to 100 as well with Oh, Baby, killed the dog at the start and one Legionaire and then I had trouble in his tent. They mass on me and kept stunning me. Just have to run out. I'm on Hardcore so I asked my companions to stay out of the fight since they keep getting themselves killed. But out of the tent, it's just the matter or running and hammering one by one till they're all dead. Wildly smashing away seemed to kill them without much strategy and stuff apart from the occassional Mauler special attack.

Well, I'm at the end part of the final quest now. Next playthrough, fully Unarmed like my playthrough for FO2, punching everything to death. Hope the Deathclaws are not too hard without the Super Sledge.
I think we need to start taking screenshots of some of the weirder things we encounter around the wasteland

This first one was found in the apartments in westside, someone there has a strange way of playing with toys

The second was when I went to rescue the captives the legion took from nipton, It seems the game was confused about who was captured but it looked mighty suspicious to me...
