About Drakensang: How much dialogue is there compared to combat and are there non-violent ways to solve quests/situations.
Game does not aparently (according to reviews) have bioware style party interaction, which is a shame.
How good is the combat?

Combat is... semi-turn-based (real-time with pauses and dice rolls in the background). And as far as I'm concerned, it's pretty good - at least I like they way they did combat interface (well it's nothing new, but that doesn't mean I can't like it :D )
As far as fighting difficulty goes, I find them pretty fair, which is goooood, RPG mechanics are pretty interesting and fun...
Fighting vs. talking... Well, so far it was about 60:40 in favour of talking. You have some skills that can influence dialogues, like etiquette (I know it's probably not spelled this way)
Well, since 'bioware party inteactions' was, in my opinion, strongly overrated, I don't think it's really worse. Characters in your party have stories, which you can uncover during the gameplay (but I didn't play THAT long, 'bout 10 hours or so). At any rate, it's fun to just have them around, sometimes they add something to dialogue or comment current situation...

For me they were huge part of the game (at least in bg2) to the point I played game thru couple times to see other romances and what other npc's had to talk about or say about different situations.

So they do talk to you and have story to tell, they just don't talk to each other?

but I just wanted to say, I played it as an "Xbox Live Original" and I loved it.
There are billions of choices and billions of paths..
