Elmofongo: I am curious if the Grey Warden of Origins will make an Appearance.

I play a Human Noble Warrior so how will that Warden Appear in the game?
I don't think that's going to happen. Bioware would need to give the protagonist personality and voice, which would most certainly be in opposition with what players imagined him/her to be.

Fenixp: I don't think there were any in the original either... You could be a dick to people, but that's about it, there really wasn't much of distinction between good and evil in Origins. The whole silly morality meter went out of the window in that game.
That is not true. There were things in DAO that are, in my opinion, completely evil. Or rather, you were free to give them your own spin other than simple pragmatism.

I certainly wasn't thinking of the greater good when I slaughtered the elves or had Alistair executed to secure my own station at court.

Eh... Check your spoiler tags ;-)

*Spoilers*
So anyway, slaughtering elves was for the survival of another race, which arguably had as much right of survival as the elves did. Yes, there was a way of weaseling out of it in another way, but that's unimportant right now. When it comes to killing of Alistair, the argument for his death was that his very existence could have disastrous effects on entire Ferelden. Sure, you could spin those to be evil - but none of those decisions were inherently evil. Decisions like that existed in Dragon Age II and I'm sure they'll be in Inquisition as well, it's just none of those games were exactly written with the concept of good and evil in mind.

I disagree completely.

The survival of another race? We're talking about a small group of humans here, and you don't even have to work hard for a scenario in which both the elves and the werewolves survive. You are able to make an informed decision, and there is no rational reason to choose anything else. I still chose to slaughter the elves because I wanted to. And that is evil, because I say it is!

I had Alistair executed because I hated him and wanted him dead! Anora's motivation is simply the "official version" that just happened to serve my needs.

My Warden was a selfish genocidal villain, and I loved the game for that. It gave my character, well....character. All the Inquisition videos I have seen so far merely give the player character responses that are...neutral, non-committal even. In that way, the Inquisitor seems to have even less personality than Shepard or Hawke, if that is even possible.

*spoilers*
You can't disagree with how the facts were presented in the game :-P You've had to slaughter dozens of werevolves to get to get to the 'peaceful' solution, so I can hardly consider that a good one, while the killing elves one was offered from the getgo.

Precisely.

That remains to be seen I suppose. I hope Inquisition does offer more than what you're describing, because that would not only be boring for the 'good' side of the barricade. We'll see when opinions of actual players start coming in I suppose.

Hey, I gave them a fair chance to treat with me. Two, even. Not my fault if I had to slay many of their friends to make them listen to me. :p

Well, I HAVE heard one thing about one of the party members that sounded pretty cool. Not sure if it is true, but if it was, it would go a long way to regain my interest.

Elmofongo: How is the Open World aspect? Is it on big giant country like Morrowind and GTA 5?
From what I've read it isn't. Like Baldur's Gate it's divided into zones, but each zone is a massive explorable area.

Or like Everquest 1 and 2. Each leveling zone has instances between each other, Its not like WOW where say you ca go from Durotar to the Barrens seamlessly.

Niggles: $89.95 AUD here (62.99 from ozgameshop). Thats about the normal price for a PC game here. $50/60 USD looks normal to me.....?

Btw does origin region lock their recent games? (havent bought either origin or steamed games for months...)
Booyah, the local online shop I sometimes use to get my boxed games sells it for US$50:
http://www.gameshop.com.sg/product_info.php?cPath=37_49&products_id=9379

I've to check with them whether it's a direct Origin code.

Well I am wondering if Bioware will finally nuts up and actually show nudity in there sex scenes?

Far Cry 3 and Witcher, God of War, and even GTA 5 shows Nudity so Bioware has no reason to tease everyone. Your making a M rated game, live up to that title or just make a T rated game :P

Anyone who have the game can tell us how big the download is?

Thanks! I think I can live with that. Be getting the cheaper digital version. Boxed costs $8 more. Valkyria Chronicles is 25GB so I should be able to live with the 3 day download.
Holy crap is this game made for a controller! Mouse and keyboard controls are terrible!

Runs good on my ancient rig though.

How old is your ancient rig? What are your specs?

I've been hearing conflicting reports from people with low end systems.
