Do not buy the Bulletstorm! Do not buy it in a hat. Do not buy it as a cat. Do not buy it on a mat. Do not buy it, that is that.

keeveek: Bullestorm is made by the same guys who made Painkiller.
And Baldurs Gate is made by the same people that made Shattered Steel...

Your logic is infallible.
I have heard a lot bad stuff about pc version and I have played the xbox one. The game is not bad just the first half is boring. After the dinosaur it really speeds up and gets more action oriented. I dont know who came up with the idea that couple hours with just like one gun is cool.

Aningan: Would have gotten that bundle if the games would have registered on Origin. As non-US I prefer games I can register on other clients.

grinninglich: It registers on Origin. I did it. But the game uses GFWL anyway.
Cool. Bought it!
I really liked Bulletstorm. A lot more "old school" than most modern shooters.

Also use an offline profile in GFWL, it's not rocket science.

Well genius it is clear that you didn't read the link i posted. You didn't read yet you make comments like you are very wise. Rocket science my ass! It doesn't work you dullard.
My question is this: how truthful is the issue with the offline GFWL profiles?

I've never had a problem with GFWL as long as it has allowed me to create an offline profile to play with. The problems have always come when a game requires you to be perpetually logged on to the GFWL service.

So can you create an offline profile and play single-player fully offline?

The game looked pretty entertaining in the trailers, but the voice clips were so annoying that it was enough to get on my no-buy list. Do people want those kinds of lines these days, or are the writers just silly?

It works because I did it, and always do it with GFWL games.
Are you aware that you are linking to a post from February 2011? It's just that you act like this is recent up-to-date news.
I had the same problem first time with Bioshock as the man in the link describes, but after 5 min tinkering I figured out how to do offline profile....

If this is your warning then you might just add - don't buy Bioshock, don't buy Batman Arham Asylum, don't buy (insert GfWL title here).... or just get on with it and work out how the offline profiles work, after all you do know you are getting a game which uses GfWL, don't you?

edit: old news are old

Clearly stated in Bold on the steam page, that GfWL has to be installed for Bulletstorm.

It is intentionally that way. You have to like it, but if you can live with it the absurdity and sheer ridiculousness is beyond awesome.

The game is a parody in regards to the story. And a ballbreakingly cockfisted assfuck one!

I'm not sure if Adzeth meant those clips, but I found the commercials with some of the producers talking about the general awesomeness of their game (and being "crazy", which was just dreadful) to be incredibly bad and not funny at all. They made me really not want this game. Maybe I'll try it out when Steam has a sale for 2.50 or something...

edit: OK, Adzeth probably meant the lines the characters say ingame.
