Star War Rebellion is a very rare game to get a hold of. Sadly it was not a success, but steadily grew more and more in popularity as years went by.

It is now considered a "classic" and a "collectible".

I own the game, but can only play it in Win XP mode on Win 7, and it turn into a small square. I can adjust my screen resolution, but it will still look bad.

I would LOVE to see this GREAT game available via in gog fixed and compatible for Win 7.... And I think it is the only chance it has for seeing the light of day once again.

What is this game?

It's pretty much a 4x game. You colonize, expand your power, hunt down the Rebels or Empire. It offers a lot of strategy, and HOURS of game play, and re-playability since it fully randomizes your start. Not to mention you have 3 different galaxy sizes to play.

I was going to do a "Lets Play" on YouTube, but some guy beat my to it.

Here, have a look : http://www.youtube.com/user/jnwestray78#p/u/2/5jdb4PBRm7Q

I am not one to beg and grovel, but PLEASE get it gog!

It is indeed an awesome game and I also hope it shows up soon with some nice extras (and with the proper name of Rebellion rather than Supremacy)
Step 3: Prepare to be disappointed

LucasArts and all their games are one of the GOG "Holy Grails", but they are also one of the least likely we'll ever see here. LA has made a few timid steps into digital distribution of their old catalog, but it has been pretty much exclusive to Steam. LA rabidly protects their intellectual property and likes their DRM, so getting them to agree to GOG's standards is an uphill battle, to say the least.
Agreeed. Love to play this game again. I sunk countless hours into it when it came out and then managed to lose the cd in a move. I'd buy it instantly if gog released it.
Although I am a Star Trek fan and not so interested in SW, I really enjoyed playing Rebellion demo so I agree, it would be great. Lucas Arts archive is truly full of treasures...
I'd love to see X-Wing, Star Wars: X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter and even Star Wars: Rebel Assault
We really need the star wars KOTOR games up in here

Unless GoG wants to get beaten by the competition (aka steam) on this

Too late, KotOR is already on Steam and has been for quite a while.

I knew that, which Is what I meant that Does GoG want it's competitor to have this game and be without it?

I would much prefer buying the game from here with extras for a cheap price than buying it from steam

As would I (if I didn't already have the games), but the fact is, Steam has already beaten GOG in regards to LucasArts and its not really up to GOG whether or not the games show up here, its up to LucasArts.

yeah I understand what you mean

Still though, if GoG wants to seriously take it's statements "We want to be the number one alternative to steam!" then they should seriously step it's game up

Deus Ex
Thief Deadly shadows
Kotor

And many other games are available on Steam and are not on GoG

GoG really needs to take care of this
Yeah, I think I remember that one. I don't think I bought it, but I quite liked the demo all the same.
I still have the CD close to me right now. A really good game and I play it again from time to time. Works fine on XP.
I'd like more people to discover it, so one more vote for it.
Ah, nothing like getting Luke to train the Jedi of the future, and capturing Vader\the Emperor in one fell swoop (the "Final Battle" event). He can even train Leia once he encounters Vader on a covert mission.

I don't really see Steam as a competition. Personally I stay far away from Steam.

Heh, funny thing, even after all these years of owning the game I have yet to play as the Rebels. Just don't like the layout they have.
