Thanks for the update. Any improvements to the parser? Is the grammar now flawless?

unfortunately not had time to try it yet, from what i assume in the email, theres going to definitely be some sort of improvement to the translation/text, as to the parser, im unsure.

purely conjecture at this point, ill give it a whirl later and see whats what.

looking on the positive side, nice to see theyve listened and have pushed an update out quickly though i think.

A patch three days later? I'm not convinced that it'll be fixed to any great degree. That sounds horribly rushed to me.

The intro reads a great deal better and is at least easier to read but there's still quite a few errors left. I'll accept this as a quick fix but I do hope a proper patch will be done soon.

For example: to "nearly escape something" implies you almost did but then didn't and yet the game uses it in a sense where you almost did not escape. The word you're looking for is "narrowly" and not nearly. There's quite a few of these mistakes remaining and also some really jarring expressions. For example: no-one on earth says "be there or be square" anymore - this is not the 50's anymore and a scifi game makes it even worse - especially considering a bad ass guy is supposed to say it.

Still, it's a good step in the right direction but it's just one step of several I'm afraid.
Could there be a chance of buying a separate Digital Hintbook for example?
I bought the standard edition and i'm loving it very much ( except the syntax errors! :P )
some minor text bugs here and there but i heard the patch was released yesterday so i guess it's fine

Is there a "Let's mosey" somewhere in the script, too?

I think that one comes right after "let's party dude", "too kool for skool", "keep on truckin'", "flower power!", "that was totally rad", "give peace a chance", "give a hoot, don't pollute" and "Rock on!".

Red_Avatar: "Rock on!".
There was a period when Coop and Jamie made this catchphrase cool again.

I'm still unclear as to whether they've released an actual patch or if they just have the content ready to be put into a patch. Nevertheless, given what I've seen, I think what they should have done was pull the game entirely, until all of the problems have been fixed. Consideration for the devs aside, we shouldn't expect anything less than a 100% competent translation (I would excuse the clunky turns of phrase and odd usage of colloquialisms as just being a writing issue).

But the parser issue is IMO much more important. If parser remains unfixed then this game, sadly, will remain broken.
