Finally!
Thank you!
How are these games? Are they good fun, fascinating story, interesting gameplay?
Have been patiently waiting for this promotion, and despite having 2 of the games o disc already, like Pokemon, I have to have (buy, this is capitalism) them all!
Thanks GOG. Can't wait to get back into action with Tex.

LePerros: How are these games? Are they good fun, fascinating story, interesting gameplay?

Hey LePerros,
Personally I've found them some of the best adventure games ever created. The subsequent games, after Mean Streets, are all FMV, and, to me at least, some of the best incorporation of FMV into a game... the Tex Murphy series was an example of the wonderful integration of core gameplay mechanics and FMV.
In relation to story and puzzles. My memory is a little fuzzy on the details, as its been over a decade since I last played them, but, that being said, I seem to recall that the stories were gripping and extremely well-written. The characters are unforgetable; Tex Murphy is a chap that will remain with you for the rest of your life, with his cool noir attitude undercut by his comic failures at, well, pretty much everything. One could perhaps call him a loveable gum-shoe that's missing a shoe :P
Gameplay: again hazy in my memory but its a blend between puzzle solving, point and click, first person exploration and time-based problems. The developers really blended the genres well in the games to create something quite unique in my opinion. I can't ever recall being bored in the game due to its mechanics and often found the puzzles and world interaction enthralling. And unlike typical point'n'clicks, the FMV games (don't know about Mean Streets) has a built-in hint system, so if you're stuck, at least there is a way to pull yourself out of the mire :)
Honestly, I think you would be hard-pressed to find a series of games which are so captivating for the price that GOG is offering them for in this promotion. I hope this has helped :)

Pandora is probably the best. But all the last three of them are amazing.
Still no DVD version of Overseer, right? :(
i only own Tex Murphy 1+2 from the collection

I've tried keeping up on the development process of the DVD version, I think it has been abandoned by GOG. There are some good posts on work arounds, but it is far from easy to do.
Great promo, unfortunately I already have all of these. Still, good news for anyone that hasn't snapped them up yet.
OMG!!! I wanted to at least try these games and I'm glad I waited. I love point and click games!
BUYING NOWWWWWWWW!
I bought them all ^^ Thx for the good promo!
What about "Heroes of Might and Magic Collection 50 % off" next time? :)
These definitely look interesting; I'll probably pick a few/all of them up.

Like this, minus the M&M games? Well, if there could be two nearly-identical Tex Murphy promos in half a year, maybe there will also be another (Ho)MM-promo as well. I doubt it, though, given it's Ubisoft.
Another week, another, "own them all." *sigh*

Yep. I already have the MM 6-pack (just because i have won a free game code ^^), so that would be nice.
Was only missing Under a Killing Moon.
Now I miss none. :)
Uhm, could you prevent to repeat too many old promos in a row? Pretty please? :)
Would really like to see some new offers, I don't want to wait till christmas, hehe.
