Think about this: communists are everywhere. Here for example, an user demands access to the forums he doesn't own.

EndTheLies: You dont seem to even understand the definition of a communist.

Maybe you should stop being an ass ?
From demanding access to the places you don't own to the situation when you take a rifle and just take the place is just one step.

And stop being offensive, unsless you also want to get banned and whine about it afterwards...

Banning is always bad. Unless it’s a bot. Auto-ignore him for users, maybe, but not delete all his posts. That’s just stupid and mean.

You're not the only one, I'm waiting for an answer as well and no luck atm :)

What was your question in specific? I can't find any specific question in your previous posts.

Ask me again, and then I will reply ;-)

I asked what the point of the numbers of Finland and the Czech Republic was.

Oh, I hoped you'd understand.

Access to guns is one of the many factors that describe, or would help describing, free country.

In my country, access to guns is ALMOST restricted only to the authorities. Govt. does that, because govt. wants control. And it is easier to control people who are disarmed.

In many EU countries, and in the EU itself (parliment), officials are trying to disarm their citizens, except some, like Finland and Czech Republic for example.

The right to protect your own house with a weapon is essential, if you want to name any country a free one. Of course it's not the only factor, but one very important.

Wider access to guns with our current right of self-defense (or lack thereof) is a disaster in making.
Just sayin'

RoyRodgers: Yes but criminals can get guns regardless of laws, and stricter laws don't mean criminals lose acces to guns....something all too easily seen in some of the poorer areas.
This is exactly the point. Criminals will always have access to arms, no matter the law.

But if a criminal would know , there are 15 people with pistols around him, he would think twice before the robbery.

I really don't know why Americans clearly understand that point, but Europeans don't. Europeans seem to like being helpless against criminals.

Ah, I see now. Well, this is not an issue for me because I abhor violence and think that there should be no guns at all. So there you go. No murdering for you, Mister. And while I see this “government trying to monopolize arms in order to avoid resistance” argument a lot I don’t think it’s very convincing. After all, peaceful revolutions are possible even against oppressive regimes as the past has shown us (no, I am not talking about the Middle East).

Really? Large protests in France, England, Greece haven't changed ANYTHING. I don't even mean changing the govt. , but simply CHANGING THE DECISION that is not appreciated by people.

And one of the reasons such thing happens is exactly disarming the nation. They have armies, they don't fear revolts, because people don't have anything except words to fight with.

And I don't want to hold a gun to kill a politician, I want to have a gun to protect myself and my family from bad guys. Just it. And I can't, because the Police is competent to deny me access to weapons without any reason.
