Reaper9988: Not a fan of the whole everything needs to be online thing, if i want to talk to random people i join trade chat in WOW.
If you're drunk the banter can be even fun.
If I'm playing a single player RPG like D:OS I'd rather be left alone :P.
Ganni1987: Same, when I play a singleplayer RPG with a good storyline, I don't want to see what other people are saying. Heck sometimes I even close my room's door to focus on my game.
Hopefully there's an option to turn that thing off without fiddling with firewall rules.
Heh same, i can get outright annoyed if someone calls me during a play session.
Reaper9988: So there is no way to actually disconnect from the chat or never connect?

Pheace: From playing the Steam version I actually forgot it had an open chat. We minimized it away the first time we played and I don't think we ever saw it since. (over the next few weeks playing it)
Well minimizing works, but the thought of there being a chat system would bother me, I'm weird like that.
I mean if i want to play alone in Wow i got out of my way to block battle.net in the firewall, which i do because Blizzard has not yet offered an offline mode for battle.net lol.
So if there is no offline version for D:OS I'd probably fiddle with my firewall too.
Oh actually why do i worry about it, I'll probably just block the whole game in the firewall since i really just want to play it single player.
