darewind: I came here to purchase Divinity Original Sin DRM free only to learn that your "optional" client is delaying the commercial release.Since I will need a client to run the game either way I will just purchase it on Steam.
Yeah, we should all have done this, there is no reason to buy this game from GOG if we still need a client to run it fully.... PLUS we'd have had the game by now, and everything would have been smoother for us, because it seems that the steam version of this is the version that Larian have made the prioroty, DESPITE the fact that it was suposed to be DRM-FREE from the beginning.
If this is a taste of things to come, I don't see me suppporting GOG anymore, if I ABSOLUTELY MUST use a client, I may as well use the one that provides me the most functionality and the one that will be suported first.
