I never did get to play Rez, but I fired up Child of Eden this morning. I feel almost bad for saying how much I dug it even though I've only played one level (my kid jacked my Kinect from me after a single level to play Fantastic Pets).

The good: music, lights, gameplay, it's all a weirdly different kind of fun. You actually make music as you shoot different enemies, I found myself trying to keep a beat to the crazy background music and was not punished for it.

There's regular controls too, with a gamepad, if you want. I assume they would turn it into something less engaging.

I suspect this game caused weed sales to spike.

Before Child of Eden I always said there was only one must have Kinect game (Dance Central), now there are two.
No Kinect for me, waiting for the PS3 release with Move.

I loved REZ and Eden seems to be that and more. Much much more.

It should work great with Move, since I've been lead to believe that it's about 50 times more accurate than a WiiMote.
Can't say I want to pay full price right now, but I definitely want it.

I got it for 35 two days ago on Amazon.com. Their weekly and daily deals are really pretty good, 20 bucks or more off brand new games. Of course if you wait for a big holiday like Black Friday you could get it for 20 bucks and brand new games for 30.
