You have plenty of assumptions. Bad ones. Which is completely unwarranted given GOG's history.
RatherDashing: What assumptions have I made, and why are they wrong? I don't believe I've made any, so I'd like to hear your opinions on the matter, because you haven't adequately expressed them.
What information we have:
FACT: No EA game that had expansion packs currently is being sold with those expansions.
FACT: GOG is aware of the issue.
FACT: GOG's responses on the issue have been vague
Now, "their responses have been vague" isn't an insult or an accusation. They may HAVE to be vague. But whether or not they have to doesn't change whether or not they have been.
A boycott on all of EA's games is reasonable. Even if they have good reasons for not releasing the expansions right now, that's not really the point. Malicious or not, the end result for the consumer is the same, so as a practical concern the situation is identical. A boycott is reasonable because it sends a clear message that they should get this issue solved. You don't have to assume anyone is doing anything maliciously to want to say that.
Fact: You're assuming that Gog has been nice to us up until now but that now that EA's on board they will or have already become tainted, and that they are being dishonest/rude to us by not answering you with specific answers.....even if they can't legally.
Fact: They've replied to us, and the reply was a good one...but not one you like personally because they aren't up to your specifications for an "answer". So you feel justified in arguing here instead of through PM to gog/email to EA/etc.....or other reasonable, non attention getting channels.
P.S. By advocating a boycott after years of wanting EA to come to gog over such petty things you are basically putting the proverbial foot in your own mouth. Gog has given an answer, and while you haven't outright said it in your mind you feel betrayed by gog and want to lash out......if only this were worth lashing out for.
