Well, considering that Skyrim by itself sold more copies than all of BW's recent games combined, I'm not surprised.

Well, even though I backed PoE (for a lot of money, actually), I'm realistic enough to know it's a niche audience for that game. BioWare's not going to go for a niche audience. And if they're looking for more 'mainstream' audiences, I'd far rather it be Skyrim fans than COD fans.

yeah looks very skyrimish but that is what they were trying to do in the first place...
to be honest it doesnt look bad and we still have the save everywhere and the combat is more like DA:O than DA2 so maybe the game is not that bad we need to wait a little longer

God this game looks gorgeous. I may not be a big RPG guy, but this AND Witcher 3? I'm salivating.
I really, REALLY hope the fact it's on 5 different platforms doesn't screw it up. I wonder why BioWare won't just focus on next-gen & PC?

Yea, right. Oh, I guess they meant that there will be some minor changes which dont really affect how the game progresses (or in a marginal way), and that the ending will be a decision made at the end of the game.

I think they also forgot to mention that the conversations are going to be extremely shallow and the choices to make not exactly a product of ambitious approach to the subject.

Also, how come he didnt mention that they're going to release an incomplete game, saving storyline-important DLC for later. Greedy bastards.

Other than that, the game might be cool - I dont know why, but it reminds me of Fable: The Lost Chapters (cool game btw).
Thats my first impression - a more 'sophisticated' version of Fable.

Its good that there are Kickstarter games which have a different approach. So hyped up for Pillars of Eternity.

I dont know, if in the end it turns out decent enought, maybe I will play DAIII one day (treating it exactly like Fable - a cool, light, fun RPGesque game) but its definitely not something I'm excited about.

Now that I think about it, its starting to remind me more of Witcher, only with added team elements and topped off with a sauce of blandness. Everything about it seems so generic and uninspired.

You can't say that they haven't done anything AT ALL cause this project looks already 1000 times better than DA2. At least tactical view is back and initially the game would only take place in Orlais but the success of Skyrim has 'inspired' Bio to cover more places in Ferelden.

Will Bio have learned from their past greedy choices and their fan backlash? Who knows. They have had a lot of time to develop this one so it might turn out in a nice game. OR we get the same DLC infested bull crap.... At least the original DA:O writer is back so this can turn into a nice thing. If they decide to do things right I will buy it, if like you have said not, then it' a no buy for me even on 90% sales. I'm sick and tired of big devs get away with these micro transactions and DLC crap. So 5$ less from me is still 5$ loss for them :p
