Hey guys and girls. What are your favorite rogue-likes? My would be Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup, ADOM and Cataclysm DDA. Certainly these are the best. Mainly DCSS and CDDA since I cannot play ADOM full-screen and Noteye has huge lags.
I also cannot decide whether I like new TOME or not, Brogue seems nice with its features but I prefer longer Roguelikes. Caves of Qud was also really nice and great world and features, but it felt kind of pointless after a while, for some reason. Doom rogulike is also fun, but somehow is not something I did played a lot. Angband is boring and tedious with procedurally generated dungeon levels every time you enter them... Killing 40 O on the screen is not something I would call interesting and immersing. I like Liberal Crime Squad concept but the combat was not so interesting and tactiacal ,and that is what I enjoy the most. Also it had some bugs. I liked Rogue Survivor, but sadly it is not in progree right now and I think it has been abandoned. But I discovered CDDA after that :)
Overall : 1. DCSS and 2. CDDA i guess / ADOM
