orcishgamer: Wait, isn't this the one with the broken multiplayer in the current version?
That's Bad Company 2, and only if you listen to the aforementioned nutjobs in the forums. It is a great game, but ultimately still a stepchild to what Battlefield 3 is expected to be.
Wishbone: It's probably not as bad as all that either. A few notable cases have probably blackened the reputation of all PC ports. Gears of War and UT3 spring to mind.
StingingVelvet: Well I don't know much about UT3 but Gears of War was an excellent PC port in my opinion, I wish we had more like that today. Exclusive new levels, mod tools, DX10 support for native AA with UE3, etc..
When I think bad ports, ports so bad you might be better off with a console version, I think of games like Resident Evil 4, Splinter Cell: Double Agent and Saint's Row 2.
I have absolutely no idea why everyone apparently hates Gears on PC. They did everything as they should've and then some.
