Well Ubisoft kinda sucks now.

Petrell: Planescape is a D&D setting and ATARI's D&D license covers everything about D&D including all its settings (Planescape, Forgotten Realms, Ravenloft, Eberron etc.).

Aliasalpha: From what I've been told by one of my D&D obsessed mates, they also seem to be trying to retire the Planescape setting along with a few other obscure ones so that might provide yet MORE complications

Who's been trying to retire it? Atari or Hasbro?
Hasbro asfar as I'm told. Something about them not publishing new 4th ed books for half od their more obscure settings
European Air War and Pacific Air War (Microprose) please? THe 2 best WW2 flight sims out there. EAW is vastly superior to the Microsoft Combat Flight SImulator, but they came out at the same time and the Microsoft product won the sales war.
I wonder if they will offer some of the Microprose games that are already avaible like X Com.I have the steam version but would not mind a non DRM version.

Everywhere that has the X-Com series lists 2K as the publisher, so it seems Atari didn't get the rights to those.

It'll be great when 2K finally gets here. I expect they will.
By arrangement with Atari the "Code development team" have been releasing vastly improved versions of European Air War for the last four years, at no cost whatsoever.
Version 1.28E is in the final stages of development at this juncture.

Mrjelly,,imagine meeting you here....
MrJelly is the great guru of European Air War.
I am hoping that GOG can solve some of the "ripped screen" problems that EAW has with Nvidia cards....

They gave us M&M 6 pack though..makes no sense.
Maybe the evil ubi empire us under attack from within by a small resistance force, courageously fighting against tyranny.
In the end, it'll be an easy victory, whenever the ubi death star is ready to fire at a rebel base, the rebels will just need a basic DOS attack and the entire death star will either pause or dump you back to the menu and restart at the previous checkpoint when the internet gets back online
It would seem trying to guess what is and isn't included in this deal is going to be quite complicated. That said I am so looking forward to 2 of the three announced titles which I played to death when they originally came out. Yes I am that old!
Master of Orion absolutely brillant, I never played MoO 2 so don't know if I would like that one.
Master of Magic, fantastic ...was this ever updated?
I still have the game guides for both of these.
Looking back at the Microprose catalogue it brings back a lot of memories, I had over a dozen of their titles.
I'm guessing the Sid Meier titles won't be available (I'd love to revist the original Civ and Railroad Tycoon), but maybe the Chris Sawyer games (especially Transport Tycoon)?
I'm really excited about the forthcoming releases, which is a bit of a surprise.

The X-Com games from Steam are DRM free. Just buy and download them from Steam, then copy the game directories and dosbox.conf files to your own Dosbox installation. Tadaa, DRM free! Same goes for Commander Keen.
