Soo, who played it, who plays it and who sits behind it all night long, perfecting his deck?
I must say I'm really impressed by this great game, introduced to me by a certain member of this forum, who doesn't wish me to reveal his name. (read: I don't remember for crying out loud!)
Such a great mix of tactical strategy, card game - and all of that wrapped in games that don't take long to play (one game is about an hour, but it can be longer with a bigger maps) - therefore, it doesn't frustrate you (or at least me :D ) by losing after a 3 hours long game, which always turned me away from most turn-based strategy games...
I simply love general randomeness of the game (surprisingly, as I usually hate it), which gives you different tactical challenges every single game you play, by cards you draw and by random generation of map, as well as random choice of the cult on it!
I still remember how I defeated my opponent using a single infiltrated unit, as well as pretty big war between me and my enemy, ended swiftly by my air-force. And I'm not mentioning certain game where I was ready to give my enemy a final blow... And some freaking cult blew up whole map by they doomsday device
For those poor souls who never heard of the game:
