PredakingCrush: Damn man, you got it bad :)
Yup, :)
dreadcog: Best one hands down, Elder Scrolls Daggerfall.
I played that game for 6 months, day after day. Just exploring and taking small quests. I still haven't beatin it. My save game sits in a zip file on my external HD begging me to unleash it's dark tenticle like power again. I say no for now but it sings like a Siren in waiting.
Magnus: "
Rest well this night, for tomorrow you say for the Kingdom of DAGGERFALL!" /Awesome atmosphere.
I am a terrible ElderScrolls geek, wrote one of the stickies on their forums and all that jazz. My god its a wonderful game.
I love that game to death. I wrote and made so much material for that game. I was thinking of posting it but I'll probably wait until GOG gets the official greenlight to sell it. I don't understand why more people don't like it. It's an amazing game with so much freedom. Buy a house and setup some roots or just be a wandering adventurer. Walk by the light of the moon and be a werewolf or the shadows of the night and be a thief. Sure there are some bugs but they can be overlooked once you know how to manage them.
The coolest quest I ever got was from this merchant who had me delivering all this junk for him and paying me REALLY well. So I figured I'd keep doing it because there was some armor I wanted. I go on a typical quest of delivery but the guy I was delivering it to wasn't there. I thought, "Oh man another bug." I waited and thought for a moment and decided to open the package. There was freakin finger inside with a note that said, "My friend I'm sorry to put this upon you but I am cursed. I'm afraid I must pass the curse along to you." So everynight a mummy comes and disturbs my sleep. I kill it and get free gold and go back to sleep. I'd solve the curse but the mummy has been with me so long it feels like family. Stuff like that just blows me away about a game.
