tfishell: Classic Square Enix stuff has been appearing on Steam. Tomb Raider, Legacy of Kain, etc. Really glad GOG go their hands on it first, though.
SirPrimalform: Honestly, GOG probably got their hands on it first because they were willing to get it working. If GOG hadn't released them I doubt they'd be on Steam either.
That's what I suspected too, and props to GOG for that also. One of my favorite aspects of GOG is helping the "underdogs" out, usually good old games not already on dd's (even though they were popular back in the day), but I have to give props for good new indie games, too, ones not getting much attention. It shows they're not just in this for the money, and are willing to work hard to bring this games back even if the exclusivity doesn't last forever. (although I do enjoy GOG's exclusivity when they deserve it; it's hypocritical to not want these games to appear on Steam, but as a GOGfan it's cool to be able to give people the reason, "Well, afaik GOG is the only place you can buy this classic right now...")
I'm not going to view this whole thread, but Timppu, if you happen read this, I hope your blood pressure didn't rise to high when initially viewing this thread. ;)
