know that GOG has rejected games at least partially due to lack of votes. I'm not saying this game doesn't belong on GOG, I just know that to an extent they consider how the number of votes could relate to sales here.
If they're seriously rejecting games on the basis of lack of votes, then they really need to reconsider their curation policy. While there is a select few games that would see considerable success on GOG due to the tremendously high number of votes (like System Shock 2 did), other games don't necessarily lack votes because they are bad or disliked. Many of them are simply obscure and unknown to the larger body of gamers and, speaking for myself, it's always the obscure ones I've never heard of that interest me the most (generally, if it's a game I want and like, I already have it on disc).
