If the game has not been downloaded then you'll be able to return it without issue. If it has I think there's still a program in place to let you return the game.

Edit: Check this for information.

I'm sorry to say that if your son installed the game and it's working, then the 30 days money back guarantee doesn't cover you - if you read the content on the link that QC provided, you'll see that it only covers tech problems that can't be solved.
You'd be entitled to a refund if the game was not downloaded - that's GOG's 14 days money back guarantee, no questions asked, so long as you don't make an attempt to download the game or any of its extras.

You could still contact support, but I doubt it'll work out for you.

If the game was downloaded and installed, then I'm afraid it's a bit complicated.

GOG has a 30-day money back guarantee for customers who have trouble running a game and submit an official support ticket. But, in your case if there aren't technical reasons for a refund, then I think a refund may not be possible.

As stated. If you think Support may still try to work with you, you can follow the instructions in the previous link, and use this one to submit a support ticket. http://www.gog.com/support/contact/my_orders_and_payments

ok thx for the info and help... its a great game so i'll keep it, dont want to hassle any one over a relativley minor problem... the crime has been done, justice has been met, and hey, he can always play it on friday when his ban is lifted :P
You never heard me mention this and we never met, but I know a few people that could make your son have a terrible accident. He'd never take that card again. :D
