All catholics are christian but not all christians are catholic. Catholics are the first major organized version of christianity.

Wrong. Jews who believed/followed Yeshua were the first Christians. Catholics came much later and claim to be in place of GOD. No one is in place of GOD and no Pope can save you. Only Yeshua can.

Soyeong: I don't know how to state it any more clearly, The Inquisition didn't happen until over 1000 years after the inception of Christianity. I'm beginning to think that you can't back up your claims.

If you'll notice, pimplemonkey is that one who brought up the Inquisition. However, both it and the Crusades took place over 1000 years after the inception of Christianity, so they are not evidence that Christianity was initially spread by the sword. That was his reason for why it wouldn't have been difficult for Christianity to have survived its inception.

*It was actually de Molay that was on trial.

Interestingly, the story is that de Molay cursed the king and the pope when he was burning at the stake (If memory serves, the king decided to burn him despite the dismissal of the heresy charge), saying they would be dead within a year. One died within a month and the other within two months. Kind of a cool story, if one ignores the gruesome injustice of it.
That is why I said the King, underestimated de Molay. :) Some people, you just don't fuck with.

And I'm telling you that they were not because what you say is not true. The Pope claims to be in place of GOD, therefor an anti-Christ, and killed many Christians so they couldn't read the Bibles for themselves. They wanted control, money and power. This is not Christianity nor anything Yeshua taught.

It's extremely hard to gain rep but very easy to lose it because people will rarely +1 you unless you are giving away free games. But say one thing that is not politically correct or "uncivilized" and you can lose 100 rep in one day. I'm guessing the guy who created this thread didn't want to be seen as an agent of chaos and lose a 100 reputation.
