Would like to take a moment and thank every person who was kind enough to sling games at my silly ass. It's very, very, very much appreciated and I am awed by the generosity of the community. =)

I ask of thee, are you a fellow hardcore Sonic fan, steadfast in your staunch support and sincere love for the blue hedgehog through thin and thick (and there has sadly been so much thin)?

I'm very glad to hear that Freedom Planet manages to capture some of the magic and wonder of the kid inside you who experienced Sonic for the first time.

Wow! 40 games! I'm personally up either 3 or 8 depending on how you want to look at it:

Wizardy 6+7 - is it one game or two?
Ultima Underworld 1+2 - is it one game or two?
Cognition GOTY - is it one game or four?

I was looking at that for my husband, but he didn't seem all that interested. It's a shame, because watching the trailer gave me serious flashbacks to the original Sonic games (in a good way).

(I don't know why I bother sometimes. The best way I've found to get him to want a game seems to be for me to play it, him to see it and become curious about it, and then find it turn up in a Humble Bundle. Worked for Saints Row The Third :P)

The network of folks like us is vast but entirely sub rosa. We know each other on sight, however, by that glimmer of joy which has never fully abated.

there are 44 game boxes marked as new on my shelf. I did not look close enough to see if they were multi-sets or not.

That includes the last sale as well. I've not touched games since before that one, so those purchases are still marked as new as well.

Hmmm. I went by how many more spaces are filled in my library, then added one for the DLC that got added to a preexisting game's entry.

By that count then it is neither 3 nor 8. Wizardry and Utlima Underworld each add one space, while Cognition adds 4, so 6 it is for me so far.

Between the two sales I have added six new rows to my GOG shelf. Some however were purchases of new releases, not sale games, and a few were gifts from generous members.

Add the 59 from last time and it's definitely an indicator of a "collection" disorder. -laughs-

If I'm going to sit through that godsdamned timer, I'm going to save some serious cash in the process. =)

I already have the Quest for Glory title.
