IAmSinistar: Apropos of nothing, I started playing
Freedom Planet last night. It's so charming! And a lot of fun. I'm only a couple levels into it, but it's a perfect
Sonic pastiche. And the characters are adorable. Great game for the young and the young-at-heart. Wishing now I had picked up a gifting copy when it was on sale.
I was looking at that for my husband, but he didn't seem all that interested. It's a shame, because watching the trailer gave me serious flashbacks to the original Sonic games (in a
good way).
(I don't know why I bother sometimes. The best way I've found to get him to want a game seems to be for me to play it, him to see it and become curious about it, and then find it turn up in a Humble Bundle. Worked for Saints Row The Third :P)
Edit:
hummer010: Wow! 40 games! I'm personally up either 3 or 8 depending on how you want to look at it:
Wizardy 6+7 - is it one game or two?
Ultima Underworld 1+2 - is it one game or two?
Cognition GOTY - is it one game or four?
Three games on your shelf, but eight new games to play is how I'd put it.
